Anyone have microfiber furniture? I swear it's the hardest thing to clean. I feel like I need a special microfiber scrubbing brush.
Time to get out of the cave tonight. I'm walking a fine line on debating the one forbidden topic.
The picture you saw was actually my arm. But I have blisters/rash on both legs/feet, arms and the small patch on my stomach. My right arm is by far the worst.
It's a little itchy but not overwhelming. I think some of the first blisters are well on their way to improving. Doctor said it'll probably last another couple weeks.
I talked to my dad tonight and he said he was mowing the lawn and now has a rash from neddles. Poor luck on our part.
Also, what's the best way to find a roommate these days besides from friends? I just don't know that many people in town. Craigslist is sketchy, but free and most people probably check there. I put an ad up on roommates.com but only now discovered that I have to subscribe to view messages. It's only like $10-15 or so for a few months so I may end up paying that since there were a couple of local matches and I received a message yesterday.

If you are working Fridays there shouldn't be meetings especially in the summer in the midwest.
There should never be Friday meetings anywhere, any season. At least not if you want people to pay attention.
On Friday mornings at OldJob we'd have handoff meetings for the people going from off-call to on-call. Go over tickets you had the past week, oddball ones that showed up or ones that may crop up again.
One of the worst things...going up the elevator at 7:55a on a Friday, and you get a ticket alert. It's yours since you're not off-call until 8am. The only pro to it was at least you're at work.

Unplanned vacation day for me today...got some time to burn before the end of the year, just decided eff-it...take a day off before the production manager leaves and they expect me to cover everything. Morning trip to Target, lunch/naps now, 5 YO has a checkup this afternoon, then Mrs. said something about going to the pool.

There's a dime size blister on my arm that was swelled up pretty good. I noticed it started to ooze just a tad. Great, I thought, I'll just push on it a little to get a bunch of it out.

forgot to mention I met a couple neighbors last night. They are very nice and said they had to seed their lawn in last August as well and it sucked (I was out weeding). But I told them their lawn looks very nice right now so if ours can be to that point next summer, I'd be happy!
lunch was panera date with DH who is out shopping for manly things. So that worked out.
