Pants-your lack of a lifting mechanism to create an updraft makes it hard. I am no expert in weather especially Hawaiian weather but I doubt you get many fronts out there. This makes it hard for an airmass to fight against another one creating mixing and a storm. Oh and cold air runs the weather (more dense than warm air) and you don't get much of that. Water tends to keep things fairly temperate without a ton of change so they factors in as well.

Just saw they found a meth lab in a Taco Bell here in CR. Maybe this has something to do with BRKLYN's issue...

That makes sense. So, essentially, there's not enough land mass for the right conditions to develop over?

that OP from that TCU thread pm'd me and wanted to know where his post went. IDK, do I look like a mod?

I think I figured out his problem. Not about the mod confusion, but about the disappearing post. He doesn't appear to be opted in to the cave. He probably originally posted it on the conference, mbb or off-topic forum...and it was swiftly moved to the cave.

I've opted into the cave twice since I joined. It lasted about 15 minutes each time. I decided that I would hate too many people too quickly.

I love it there. It's no holds barred, other than the A word, which I don't really understand but I won't question CG and the mods that be.
I think probably bc it's the most divisive topic you can have, and this can be seen in the fact it gets goodwinned after 2-3 posts. I just thought it was funny we've had two threads about it since Chris left. I know people we're joking about breaking the rules, but never figured people would try to break that one.

Oh, so THAT was the rule breaker people were talking about!

I posted a comment on it once and it got deleted. Which I'm fine with. Bawbie actually sent me a PM explaining why, and I had no clue at the time the rule. Just seems silly to me, I guess, that it's the one taboo thing. I've seen CPR threads get just as heated as I could imagine those threads getting.

can confirm office mate was patient zero here. She got sick in Florida.

Great, I have a disease originating from Florida.

It is only a matter of time before I'm running around in a loincloth eating faces.

This for me plus lots of people would hate me too. I still have residual hate for some of the posters from CR. Have those guys on ignore here on CF since some use the same moniker.

DH is an *******!

I told him I have Florida disease -

"uh oh, you better not drive anymore. You do have other old person symptoms so you must be susceptible to the disease"

I'm not sure if they were talking about that rule or not, I just thought it was a funny coincidence. And l stopped reading the football threads last year. I figured I probably wouldn't be welcome in those threads
