My stock portfolio started the week far above $X, lost a bunch of money Monday-Thursday, and regained a very small portion of it back this morning. I just got an email from my automated brokerage firm congratulating me on "reaching $X" in my portfolio.
They are getting crushed. This was a bad week all around.
Let's say I started the week with $125, lost a bunch and started today with $90, and then it rose up to $100. I just got an email congratulating me on hitting $100 like I saved and saved long and hard to reach that goal. Just seems odd the algorithm that sends out the emails doesn't take into account how much you've lost.
How often do you check? I use the weight loss approach. I don't check mine every day, otherwise I'd probably absolutely panic and be stressed on a daily basis.
Looks like BMB is also a public speaker that hobnobs with the president of the USA as well now.
he's just a regular ole Renaissance man. I will throw him a bone and say I think he's at least told this story more than once. The painting/piano was the first time I'd read that.
OK, now that I got some things done and Mrs. is back from swimming lessons, the update everyone has been waiting for about the yoga pants situation:
They pants shipped last night. Hoping they'll arrive early next week
the interest thread of Angie's last week - Friday OT. He claimed that he paints and learned to play piano by ear so he can surprise everyone at his wedding by playing the piano and everyone will wonder how he learned. And he almost got caught playing in a hotel lobby one time but stopped before they got to the bottom of the escalator or something like that.
People laugh when he says he painted the paintings hung on his wall.
I don't even believe he has paintings hanging on his wall.
Haven't been reading that stuff, but from what you say, I don't even believe he is having a wedding.
I definitely read it as 'future wedding out in the distance somewhere as likely as bode already having a wife". I didn't read it as him being currently engaged.
If yoga pants are supposed to be comfortable....those look awfully UNcomfortable to me.
Not the kind of copy/paste from your facebook feed that I had in mind M'town.
