Recruit Lists v2.0

Where is Halsted getting the info that we are one of his favorites? All he said in the article was we were one of his new offers

Hopefully, I'm not posting too much "confidential" info, but it was Rob Harrington, the Scout National Recruiting guy (and the guy who did the interview), that is making that claim on the message board. I assume Alex is just quoting him.

Not a big fan of this part: "...still must add polish as a handler, passer and jump shooter..."
He is a 6'8 PF though so it's not like those are things he'll be doing as a go to guy for. Yes they'd be a plus if he wants to be a stretch 4 but not really something to worry too much about at this point.

Our run and gun offense hides some of those weeknesses. Remember how good Rahshon Clark was when he played for morgan and how exposed his game was when mcdermott slowed it down. Same thing with Prohms offense and Hoibergs.

TJ seems to have a pretty good track record with identifying potential. That plus his length, and bloodlines makes be think he would be a worthy scholarship to give.
Plus given his own and his brothers history it's very possible he still has some growing left to do

Prohm will try and run a system similar to Hoiberg's. Prohm even admitted he watched ISU games and used some of Hoiberg's plays.

I am a fan of this part: "Curry presently slots as a three star prospect but could earn a fourth star by the time we next update our rankings."

Seems like we are getting in early on guys on the rise.

Pretty much what most on here thought about the staff's recruiting priorities for next year. Good to hear Prohm had clearly verify it.

@TravisHines21: Prohm on '16 recruiting: "We’ve got to find a point guard, another ballhandling guard and we’ve got to sign probably four frontcourt guys."

@TravisHines21: Given that information, gotta think Xavier Simpson is a big, big priority for Iowa State. Big guys might be easier going JuCo route.

Probably already discussed, but does this mean we should expect NN to eventually have a "2 gaurd", Naz Long type role?

I take it to mean that Prohm likes guards that can dribble and score, and he's not going to bank on only returning NN at the point guard position considering it's totally unknown how good or bad he is at this point.

We have 5-7 spots open so we shouldn't read into taking two backcourt players.

Too lazy to link, but we offered Elijah wright. Top 150 recruit out of Owensboro Kentucky. 6'3" guard.
