I don't know about all that.....but even though I never, ever wish injury on another player, I thought it was a bit of cold justice when AP went down while Stoops was working on running up the score on us. Stoops wasn't needing style points but still kept AP in the game when it was well in hand.

AP got hurt diving into the end zone on a breakaway run as sort of a show boat play. One of the safeties or CB was running after him and made some contact that threw him off balance and landed on his shoulder and broke a color bone if memory serves me correctly...

I know people tend to view things differently or misremember, but looking at the video it looks like he is just avoiding a tackle.

Adam Carper was alright too, right CW?

Jamar Buchanon (sp) played more significant down than Carper played that year. Carper started early Jamar played more later in the season.

God, that was a great defense. Those guys all played during my sophomore and junior years. So much fun interspersed with horrifically blown chances to take ISU to the next level.

The 2005 team shouldn't have lost a regular season game.
