These comments don't make me feel like Prohm is worth supporting. Tells me there were better options.
I'm truly not. I want ISU to succeed, regardless of coach, but I think we deserve to know who we could have had. Any disappointment I have is not with Prohm, but with the administration.
I'm a big supporter of yours, Jeremy, and I love that you contribute a bunch of info on this site. But it is kind of crappy to go back on your word though, when you said you'd reveal the other candidates after a hire was made. Like you said, it'll leak eventually.
I'm pretty sure most people are going to support Prohm anyways since he is now our coach. Those that won't support him aren't going to whether or not they hear about who else was interviewed. And being interviewed does not equal getting an offer.

I agree, though I decided against it because many on here aren't nearly as reasonable and understanding as you are and wouldn't be happy with me putting the names out there and not spending the next week defending everything about the list.
You guys just need to let it go. We have our coach now, I'm excited about him and at this point who cares because it is not going to change anything at this point. The 2 guys I was hearing that they talked with I'm sure there would have been mixed reactions here (just like about any hire we could have made though) too. How about everyone get off Jeremy's case and just let it be. You're fortunate that he provided any of the info he did during the search, he didn't owe it to anyone here to say a word but he gave you all something you weren't hearing through the normal channels so be grateful for that. You don't continue to get info from insiders if you tell all every time you get a bit of info.
Dudes, lay off on this. Things have been crazy around here the last couple weeks, and Jeremy offered to share the information on a spur-of-the-moment post. He probably had a ton of stuff going on when he typed that post, and after he thought about it some more, he realized it would be better to change his stance. You can't tell me you haven't ever done something similar. I know I have, for sure. In the end, it's more important to do the right thing, instead of capitulating to the pressure from a few who what to be "in the know". I want to know, too, but I think he made a good call in changing his decision.
Appreciate that, but tired of the elite "in the know" holding it over our heads. If you can't share the names, don't say that you know them, be more vague about it.
No you don't because then you will whine about not getting them if they are quality options for you. If you want to more, I'm sure there's a donation level that would entitle you to that knowledge.
For a week everyone was upset about TJ conspiracies. Now everyone is seemingly looking for a reason to be upset that we hired one of the best small school names. It never ends with some of you.
For the benefit of the mentally unstable, probably best to sit on it for at least a couple days. Although I have a feeling it's Hornacek and Marshall.
