He was brought here specifically for this situation, so yes it is fair.

He was hired back to take the heat for 3 weeks on the future of the program, while Fred sits back and has no public answers. I doubt that.

I am leaning towards that Hoiberg guy myself.

The more I read of the Bulls situation, the more I affirm my suspicion that Foreman and Paxson are petulant little children.

Chris and Jeremy, can you guys post your thoughts in articles or blogs? This would allow us to get right at news when we want news rather than conversation and opinion. Or do I still just have to go to your personal page and view your recent posts?

And let the articles/blogs be the starting point for the daily threads which I think are a great idea to make the conversation manageable.

Then people accuse them of click bait.

My question of the day is. Is it fair for TJ to have to answer the questions of what is going on?

Nothing about this is fair to ISU or those who care about it.

The Bulls really can't block Thibs now because if we hire Hornacek you know they (Suns) will hire Thibs. And we cant hire Horny until they hire Hoiberg so the only way to truly block Thibs is to not hire Hoiberg ;)

I like how you think.

So.. Hornacek, Otz, Grayer.. who else on this theoretical staff?
.

Spiderman.

Lafester Rhodes!

Hawkeye Killa.

Johnny Orr's statue

Sure to still be more animated than many coaches.

The more I read of the Bulls situation, the more I affirm my suspicion that Foreman and Paxson are petulant little children.

Which makes it so annoying to be dumped for that heap of dung.

he is still probably the most likely guy to replace hoiberg. If he can't handle this, then how will he handle being the head coach.

I understand that but he isn't the head coach right yet. Who know he may not have a job in 2 weeks.

So some expect Hornacek to coach the Suns for one more year and then have his contract not renewed, and then think about ISU; OR that he'd skip his last year of his contract to come to ISU for next season? Or am I reading this wrong?

He was brought here specifically for this situation, so yes it is fair.

"When asked why he thought T.J. Otzelberger left his program to return to Fred Hoiberg's Cyclones staff, Romar said:
"I think if you look in the next few months it will become pretty obvious. And I'll just leave it at that.""

This from DMR earlier this spring... Not sure but likely brought up in other threads re: this topic.

If the Hornacek rumors hold true and he does come to ISU, would it be likely his daughter would be willing to accompany Jeff with the big recruits when they come to Ames on visits? I have a feeling they would very much enjoy that.
