So many stupid neighbors, so little time. Wizzer the black and white kitty belongs to the dumb Pantherhawk two doors down. Should have started with him. Hope he recovers from being drug into the house in my dog's mouth.

CG, crossover ? from the Madison thread what's up in a couple of weeks with more cows in Wi? Too early for expo.
absolutely. When I left college, everything fit in my 2-door Celica. DH and I moved 18 times during college and when it's just you doing the moving, you keep just the essentials. I have recently gotten rid of a lot of college-era stuff that didn't really get gone through after I moved it up here. But now knowing it's going to be carried and need a spot in the new place......I'm like I don't really want to move this. Out it goes.
There was quite a bit of stuff yesterday that I helped move and thought I bet they could go through and get rid of some of this. Gave me extra motivation today to go through more strictly. I realized their house had a lot more clutter than ours does. Not in a judgy way...I realize my parents' is the same way. I don't like having stuff all over - like closet floors and drawers just full of random crap. Trying to not get into that habit and getting rid of junk now will help not make clutter in the new place.
I've given a few bags of stuff to Goodwill so far but I didn't know how to accurately estimate the cost of what I donated since most wasn't super new clothing or stuff like that.
Dippy eggs were my fav! And then my dad would cut the toast into smaller slices, ahhh the bestMan, what a weekend of changes...so I mentioned previously the grilled binky...Yesterday the youngest also says he wanted his 'big boy bed' (which at this time meant we took the front off of his convertible crib).
He slept fine Sunday night with no binky, and then last night with no front on his crib. This morning, the oldest says he doesn't want scrambled eggs for breakfast, he wants 'dippy eggs'.
I figure the less time I spend on CF, the less likely I am to hear bad news of a certain coach possibly leaving. It's my avoidance theory.
The fam went and saw Tomorrowland over the weekend. Considering this was marketed for kids during several animated movies, the target audience (for kids anyway) was probably closer to 11-14 IMO. There were some undertones throughout the movie that were above my 7-year-old's head.
There was plenty of Hollywood during the movie, but there was also an interesting message about doing things to better the world versus just bettering your own status. I thought is was conveyed pretty well without getting too soap-boxy.
*disclaimer, as many of you know, I am a very lenient movie critic and, as long as the dialogue and acting aren't awful, enjoy the movies as an experience in general
Yeah, I'm away from it. I live in north Texas (just north of DFW). The lakes and rivers are at all time highs. In other counties, a few people had to be rescued by helicopter. The news said this morning that we've had rain 56 of the last 83 days and just about every day for like 4 weeks straight. Absolutely insane.GTO, you away from the flooding? Reading about how the Blanco river went up 33 feet in 3 hours![]()
