So other interesting happenings in IC today...a semi hit the Dubuque street overpass on I-80 and burst into flames. Passenger killed, unfortunately.

So there's road construction in that area, one lane closed. Looks like the semi veered off the road just before the overpass and hit the bridge support with the passenger side of the truck, came to rest under the bridge, all over the road.

The weird part is that the next bridge to the west, almost the same thing happened like 4 months ago, except in that case, the truck was so far off the road that it actually went between the bridge support and backslope, the truck wedged thru and was stuck in there for a couple weeks, it seemed. But truck veers off road, hits bridge support, truck ends up under the bridge in a fireball, all the same between the two.

I used to be shy and kind of self-conscious. However, somewhere down the line, I think I stopped giving a ****. Now my work is all about presentations, client meetings, client dinners, customer relations, networking, etc. I think my work kind of pushed me out of my comfort zone.

Oddly, outside of work, I'm still not that social. I mostly prefer to keep to myself and my family. Even though I have friends outside of work, I can't say that I actually do that much with them. My wife pretty much has to push me to interact with my friends. Not sure what that all says about me, really.

I know I've talked about it on here before, but I had zero confidence for a long time. I was a shining example of faking it till you make it. Kind of like Johnny Dugouts. You fake it long enough and eventually you'll believe it.

Yeah, Alexander Joseph is my least favorite as well. Also tossed around Alexander David as an option. We'll see. I think my wife is starting to get irritated with me not picking a name.

you've still got like, two months. So my current boss is due like 10 days from now and earlier this week in a meeting, she was sitting next to me. I thought I saw her move her hand out of the corner of my eye and I looked over and it was the freaking body part of the baby. I mean, I know the baby moves and all, but this was sticking out like 2-3 inches. I was like

Trego, it'sbteween Spooner and Minong, where Jack Link's is. No, we went straight throiugh Osseo this time. I'm guessing just a tad over the legal limit

That's the important part. Yeah, towards the end, they can get pretty active and wanting out. Flipping around, etc. Think it's part of packing up for the big move.

Heh...actually it was cleaned up by the time I went, so I got a good look at the scene...but trying to get to Target this morning stunk. Thankfully, Mrs. saw the backup just as I was going to turn onto the on-ramp, so we didn't get stuck on 80, but had to drive thru IC and Coralville to get to Target. I guess it happened just after 8 AM, and we were prolly heading thru 8:30 ish. Got passed by two weighboys coming down highway 1, but they woulda had to drive on the shoulder to get up there, it was a dead stop all the way past highway 1.

I worked tonight on putting the baby crib back together again. Took forever to find all the parts that had beeen stored for 4 years and about 45 minutes to put together without the instructions.

Down to 3 name options: David Alexander, Alexander Matthew, and Alexander Joseph. I'm leaning towards David Alexander.

David Alexander flows better than the other two, IMO.
