The NBA is a better game because the superstars get 5 steps to the basket. Makes for some coolio jams!
Say the same thing about the WNBA. Not a lot of clamor on this board - or any other board - about how great it is.
You call dribbling around the perimeter and not really looking to get a shot til less than 10 seconds fundamentals? I'm not sure if you realize that "Hoiball" is referred to as a pro-style offense (not that UNLV garbage). Do you like watching ISU? Cause then you should like watching many NBA teams
Because of all the commercial tie-ins and endorsements? Because of the money that flows from the culture that is pushed out by the NBA?
NBA is ok, but it sucks compared to CBB. CBB is more fun to watch and the fans and atmosphere is much better. I'll take players playing for the love of the game and their university over watching millionaires playing basketball against other millionaires that only care about their next pay check.
As a guy that used to have Pacers season tickets when living in Indy - the "game" is a contrived 60 minutes of product placement, phony gimmicks and superficial excitement.
To each their own.
I like both college and pro. More into college, but I appreciate both for what they are. Why is that so difficult for some?
Like I said, I prefer CBB over NBA no doubt for the exact reasons you said but the NBA haters get really annoying. I used to be one until I started actually watching it
I like watching ISU. With CFH. With Morgan. With GMac, Orr, Eustacy, Floyd, etc.... I'm fan of the team and couldn't care less about the style.
Best female athletes in the world. Same argument made about the NBA.
Cups of tea... We all like different things. I can't be wrong for having my preferences any more than you can be wrong for having yours.

As for the NBA argument, I love CBB better, but you are either blind or bias if you think it is a better game. CBB might be more popular but that doesn't mean it is better.
