Now that I think about it, 55 is probably the only one that possibly read my columns, and that's only if she was bored and wondered to them on Tuesdays and Fridays. CG would have missed it by a year.

Well, Blum as well, since we were on the paper the same time. But his columns were obviously significantly better than mine, hence why he's doing what he does now and I'm doing what I do.

I went to NIACC, transferred to ISU, dropped out, worked retail, got offered a store manager position, quit instead and came back to ISU. When I came back to ISU, I went to work at the Daily as a photographer. I got to photograph things such as ISU football games, including the Liberty Bowl against Tulsa, basketball games and things like both presidential candidates in 2012.

I'm glad I worked at the Daily as a photographer, as I now work at a newspaper where I take my own photos along with my articles.

I won some kind of national award for a photo I took for the LOGOS. it's not particularly because I was a good photographer, just more of a right time, right place, right circumstance time thing.
 
sorry to hear about the sad week, Cash. Haven't seen that Omaha story left but just from this page it sounds awful.

he's on call this week as well and said he got a call at about 1:30. I have no idea what time the game ended, but I came out at 2am and was like wut r u doing???








good news, found a sports bra that does what I want and looks nice. Get home and see it has excellent reviews. Score.

Just got back from oldest's preschool graduation. The summary:

Each kid got an award and matching box of candy. Little 00 got the "whopper" award 'because he tells the best stories'...go figs...little 00 is a talker.

Youngest had an ISU shirt on, and lady behind him told him 'he was wearing the wrong colors'. First time littler00 didn't get admonished for "PBBBBTTT"ing at someone in public. Cooler: You have my permission to get outraged at this one. While we *know* them because their daughter is in a class of 12-ish with my son...we don't know them well enough for her to just spontaneously spout off and ridicule my son about his clothes. So I pulled up a pic I took this weekend of Wallaby's menu describing their Hawkeye wings as "Boneless (i.e. spineless)" and showed it to her saying "Hey, I saw this last weekend in Ames, thought it was pretty cute". She kept quiet after that.

so mostly ok to tell story, since I had taken one of the new bras to workout in today, I'm like well if I'm going to look at ****'s, I don't want to take the tags off one I may return. So what do I do? Hmm, workout top has a liner thing.......yeah, I skipped wearing a bra. Then during class I'm like this is why I wear one. These things are out of control. It really wasn't too bad but I found it amusing.

Translation: If CG is going to keep posting random body pics on here on Friday night, she wanted a *cuter* sports bra in case it's accidentally in the frame.

There's no apostrophe in that usage, CG.
 
Shocked if Fred is not gone based on JP don't worry about what you can't control statement. Also said appreciate the 5 years we "had". Hard decide for Fred N Carol blah blah blah.
