I went to NIACC, transferred to ISU, dropped out, worked retail, got offered a store manager position, quit instead and came back to ISU. When I came back to ISU, I went to work at the Daily as a photographer. I got to photograph things such as ISU football games, including the Liberty Bowl against Tulsa, basketball games and things like both presidential candidates in 2012.I did sports my freshman year, was assistant editor my sophomore, went to isu and covered sports my junior year than had a semi-weekly sports column my senior year.
Now that I think about it, 55 is probably the only one that possibly read my columns, and that's only if she was bored and wondered to them on Tuesdays and Fridays. CG would have missed it by a year.
Well, Blum as well, since we were on the paper the same time. But his columns were obviously significantly better than mine, hence why he's doing what he does now and I'm doing what I do.
I'm glad I worked at the Daily as a photographer, as I now work at a newspaper where I take my own photos along with my articles.
