Random thoughts III

Oh, and bringing up other earlier discussions....

One of the things I made was sloppy joe's. Didn't have a recipe, so looked on allrecipes.com


So, here's what one gets when one searches for recipes under "sloppy joe" with the ingredient "Ground Beef":

70 recipes, all generally matching the food item we were discussing yesterday.

If one searches for Barbecue and ground beef, one gets this:

147 recipes, but most are not what we were talking about. There is one that matches pretty well, though.

So, clearly sloppy joe is the right term, unless you are satisfied agreeing with this person:

I was thinking of buzzing down to the Tailgate Tour thingy in Clear Lake this afternoon. Was planning on a nice sunny day drive but am now vacillating because 49 and cloudy poopy.

Of course i could still go and stop at the Nike outlet store. Seems like a RT kinda thing. :smile:

Or go to do the Pantsy Home Town tour in the next town over.
 
so we made tacos last night and I made two extra for today and tomorrow's lunch. Put my salad remains back in the fridge yesterday because I was frazzled trying to make dinner.



Guess which container made it back into my lunch bag today?

Right as I was walking away from the microwave thinking well now what....super friendly girl from upstairs who I would like to better befriend but we never see each other comes down. She's like how are you today and I laugh telling her about the lunch. SHe's like there are leftovers upstairs!

So now I'm trying whatever a falafel is. Better than wilted salad, that's for sure. Thank you for perfect timing friendly girl!

Aw, guys, our little CG made a friend!

same thing, right? this girl seems to want to be friends as much as I want one. We just never cross paths to make it happen. Today was just perfect timing. 5 seconds later and I'd have been around the corner and she wouldn't have seen me.

Falfalel things are good.

One thing I can assure you, I would not wonder hopefully whether boxster will get a little tipsy and post pics of his new workout clothes.

About as likely as Hoiberg staying 15 years and leading us to multiple Final Four appearances. :(

All I know is that I am amazed at how many people that post on this board have insider knowledge of Fred Hoiberg. It's like half of the posters here are his family members.

To be fair, though, this is the case with every topic. To those unsatisfied that they are not, and never will be, shot callers or insiders, being able to get random internet people to think you are by claiming inside information is a small victory.

Falafels are so good! And it looks like there's a good Turkish place in Madison
