I know people are high schoolers in adult bodies, hence my hesitansary. that's a made up word but it's real. 14 is a lot though. I think my opportunity would still be much me some others.

yes, much drinking but I meant my job opportunity thing would still mean I have much day to day things I can accomplish and then some based on what my minions accomplish.

And in before 00 says something about me being in a school gym

Oh you mean something like... "just be careful with which liquids you bring in" or "No apoles in the gym!"

Wife is officially 7 months pregnant today! (don't know how they can accurately tell, but sure)

Nice! Is your son excited?

Our son will be three months old tomorrow. Time flys!

I mean, the beach is the best. They have these little shade trees at the place in Jamaica. I was only semi-joking to DH when I talked about how long we could stay if we emptied our 401k accounts.

Jamaica probably wouldn't be all that bad. Belize would be dirt cheap, as well as most Central American islands.

I would thoroughly enjoy getting wine drunk with you, I do believe. I also read the last sentence first and thought you meant me. I was like excuse me I am not JSB!

If CG goes into meltdown mode, I would vacate the premises immediately.

Just make sure the pay increase is worth it. If you're going from non-managerial to managerial, I would not do it for less than a 20% increase. A whole new set of problems with managing people. Also, if it is within your current company, scope out the team you would be managing and see how they interact with both each other and their current manager. Some teams are easier to manage than others. A good mix is essential as well. I never liked all male or all female teams.

my meltdown would come if CJL decides to hop to the bugeaters ;) Well, ISU sports-related at least. I fully expect many irrational pregnancy meltdowns. Current (very prego) boss is like "one week what I like is great, the next it makes me sick, my husband doesn't know what to buy"

I think this, this will be my pregnancy life.

I'm glad you put a number on it. I've debated that 20% is worth it. Mostly because I have a very solid guess at where the current manager started at (since I was offered their job out of college). They probs got a 40-50% raise. Now, I don't expect that since I started a solid 30% above them, but I'm thinking 25% or more would be necessary to make it worth it to me. Currently I believe it's all a one gender team with some tensions. Which makes me think higher than 25%.

55, we had then deliver our couch, DH scabbed off a friend for a vehicle large enough to fit the tv

I believe it was Angie that told Janny "Bring home chocolate cake!" He brought home a whole cake, and she took one bite, and didn't eat anymore.
