If you were JP and always had to have a short list who would it be?

Mine would be T.J. Otzelberger, Bobby Lutz and Doc Sadler if he would be willing to keep the uptempo process.

I like doc but no. My feelings on tj are well known. Lutz would be interesting but he didn't last for a year here.

It will be tj.

Doc Sadler is a terrible offensive coach. I had the misfortune of watching several of his teams here in Nebraska and his basic offensive plan was to play really tight defense and try to get a steal and run out. If they had to play half court offense they should have just given the ball back to the other team and played defense. Their odds of scoring on a turnover were better than their odds of scoring in the half court. AWFUL.

Hornacek if he'd be willing to leave the Suns

hornecek would be the only one that would save it from turning into a **** show.

For some reason, id check with jay wright.

I hope none of those guys are the next Cyclone MBB head coach TBH

To be honest those all sound like blah choices.

Jay Wright isn't going anywhere. Philly talent and a league he can win every year and get a 1-3 seed. No chance he leaves for anywhere that isn't an absolute blue blood.

This.

How can anyone even claim to be excited about TJ, Lutz or Sadler. I'd rather take a chance on an up and coming relative unknown (like: Hoiberg, Floyd and Eustachy).

TJ feels like Morgan.

Hornacek would be the only choice right now that wouldn't feel like a complete letdown.

We're impoverished souls that have become accustomed to caviar in a short amount of time. I feel sorry for our next hire if Fred leaves this offseason.

Hornacek would be the best fit, and simply a great hire. Believe he has one more season with the Suns under contract. Second choice, Fran Franshilla. Think he would be a good one. Other coaches I'm skeptical about at the Head Coach position.
