Last night was my first night shift. 6 pm to 6 am. I usually work 6 am to 6 pm. Friday and Saturday I worked my normal shift and then had no time to readjust for nights before working last night. I woke up this morning after less than four hours of sleep so today's gonna be rough. I have today and tomorrow off before working nights again on Wednesday and Thursday.

woof.

Eww

I had my bachelor party Saturday night. I'm still a little hung over today.

I thought about that and Zach but I wasn't sure how I felt about Ben and Nick together. Ben seems like a softer sounding name and those two aren't that to me. Plus I don't want him copying off my list. :jimlad:

Zach is my cousins name. Good solid name and not too common. Zachary is a good formal name as well.

For Eli you can also go with the longer, Elias and use Eli as a nickname.

I'll never use it because my ex-wife named her new baby Elias, but it doesn't make it a bad name.

Sounds a bit Southern, if you're ok with that.

CG will not pick Elias

My boys:

Oldest is named after his great grandfather and great-great grandfather (first name...well, and last name...only), who died a few years before he was born, and there's a strong line of similarity from me to my dad, to his dad, to his dad. It's a traditional name, but surprisingly (now that I look) has been fairly popular over time (consistently between 10 and 20th in popularity, it peaked in the 19-teens), but I don't ever think of it as a trendy name. His middle name was Mrs. 00clone's choice for a first name, super trendy, as in...consistently outside the top 100, and mostly in the 400-700 range until the late '90's.

Youngest''s first name was picked by Mrs. 00clone, she was then pizzed because her first choice was used as the middle name of the oldest (I said we should just switch them and have like william james 00clone and james william 00clone, but she wasn't having it). Kind of trendy, only became popular after 2000-ish, probably due to the actor with that name. It does pass the doctor test, I think, if you can get past the actor. His middle name is kind of like the oldest's first name, always pretty popular, but not very 'trendy'.

Honestly this makes me like the name more, not less. Same with Balakay and De-Nice.

My name does not pass the Name Game test. Also, my name is the shortened version of a longer name, so I constantly have to say, no, that really is my name, it's not the longer one. No, seriously, that's what's on my birth certificate, it's my full, legal name. Less now that I'm older, but when I was younger, I used to have to really go 'round and 'round on it on legal documents.

I'm so curious now.
