This is normally where we'd break for our first guest, but WDSM is running late. I can only assume his mom felt guilty and gave him his lube back.
Or she found his secret stash he hid when he went to college and they spent a good portion of the night having a talk. Well, we could use this time for a word from our sponsors:

This segment brought to you by Quik Trip Microwave Burritos. Whether you're on the run, trying to cleanse your system, or just tired of hipsters pointlessly arguing about Panchero's vs. Chipotle; QT Microwave Burritos are exactly what you need. Find them at your local QT between the 3 gallon cups and the day-old hot dogs. Quik Trip Microwave Burritos. Back to you, Pants...

Good move on the pics. Did you make sure to photoshop before sending? Last time I did, I forgot to do that and found out he, I mean she, is not easily impressed. I was kind of lazy, so I did not even match the skin tone.

How about those cordless tools? DeWalt or Milwaukee tools? I for one don't trust people from Wisconsin due to their unhealthy obsession with cheese, so I'll go with DeWalt. Do you have a preference?

So you know those stock photos that you can find and use anywhere without permission? I kind of have something like that, but just a **** ton of different ones of my *****. I've got one for any occasion. Christmas has one with a Santa hat and long white beard. Thanksgiving has one with one of those turkey gobbler things. Kwanza I have it in black face. I've got it wearing a clowns wig to celebrate the circus and PT Barnum's birthday in July. Really just hundreds. The one I sent to Dandy was my ode to the 70s, which took the most work. That ball fro took four months to grow out and another hour to style. Truly a masterpiece.

It's always good to be prepared. The last thing you want is to go into anything half cocked.

Well, moving on to the Hawaii twister, I'll have to say those news were rather dissapointing. Upon reading the article's title, I thought it was going to be about a naked twister party in Hawaii. But it was just a tornado that just happened to **** people a different way.

Well, folks, that is all the time we have for tonight. This is GTO and...

Pantsy!

I think we're going to need a guest the next time. When we start the podcast, this may only last about five minutes.

that was entertaining to read.

This deal today is clearly not a CG coordinated event. The timeline keeps changing by multiple hours via word of mouth. It doesn't really seem like anyone is entirely sure of what is going on or supposed to happen. The new timeline leaves me car-less so I'd like to get that figured out.

The morning residential garden report summary:

Aesthetic futures for Boxster Gardens continue to plummet on concerns that this years aesthetics will not match results of previously years. New reports of extensive garden damage from rodents surfaced this morning. Futures are also being impacted by the previously reported extensive winter kill. A spokesperson for Boxster Gardens are quoted earlier today as saying everything is fine and it will all grow back but some observers remain skeptical and rumors of mismanagement persist. Some analysts point to garden executives forays into non-aesthetic related activities such as autos and bicycles as distracting from the garden's core mission.

Boxter--have you heard of any shredded oak mulch shortage? We were going to top-dress our landscaping out back and just got word that our landscape company is experiencing a shortage for the foreseeable future. We had winter kill last year and the landscapers never got out here to replace things (still under 1yr warranty). And two years ago we wanted 2 white pines replaced because they looked sad after the winter. They told us they had a good leader/top branch and we're fine. After this winter looks like we lost one totally--only 1 of 3 looks good.

Sorry, Pantsy, a wedding isn't in the plans for this weekend. :( Been dealing with sick kids and trying to get 2 people packed for a weekend trip. I was also busy last night making these, I still have a few left if you want to stop by after your wedding shenanigans.

I think we can rule out borrowing my old 924S. Not sure your little short legs could reach the clutch. And there is your family driving history risk (as detailed in this forum) and this little old car does not have airbags. Yup, too dangerous.

Now, if you had done the Natalie Dormer head shave I would personally chauffeur you and DH around today.

I KNOW that. I meant the undeveloped areas. :)

Kauai is The Garden Isle. That's really probably the island that is most "Hawaii" when people that have never been think about Hawaii. It's hard to find places on Oahu that really look like that. You see it a bit when going up the mountain to the windward side, but not much.

Plus, that was pretty much in Kapolei. Maybe two minutes from one of my stores, so it wasn't like it was out in the wilderness.

It's like she just knows how to make everything right for me. I've never been shot down so horribly, yet still so a flutter.

I haven't used mulch other than shredded cedar or cypress in a long time so not sure about locally shredded stuff like oak. I am not sure how the ban on moving firewood (related to ash bore) impacts shredding local hardwood for mulch.

My three columnar white pines are looking good. 2013-14 was hard on pines although mine did well, they are slightly sheltered between houses. The first few years getting them established were dicey. I had four and had several replaced under warranty. Three finally made it and are thriving. Good thing is it was three in a row so there is no missing tooth look. My winter kill was my vinca and pachysandra ground covers. The cold and lack of snow cover did them in. I will take a few years for the pachysandra to bounce back.
