Talked to him about his season at YUBA and the colleges that are recruiting him.
He said Gonzaga, Arizona, USC and West Virginia are after him. Said ISU wasn't recruiting but he's hopeful they do. That was a month ago or so. Maybe things have changed. I know the staff has a plan and I don't doubt that plan.
ISU still had MattA and Williams a month ago, and now we've lost both. I'd be every surprised if ISU isn't going after him at this point.
Does CW still take mailbag tweets? For those that follow him, would it be appropriate to ask him if anyone on our staff is attending this upcoming JUCO showcase on the west coast that is happening this weekend? But, we have an official visit to carry out without at least Hoiberg not here. So, then again, idk. Would think we would be attending that "best available" showcase , unless.......... as many have speculated, the plan already is in place and is confidently but quietly working out. Meaning, we won't be attending such an event. Is the UWGB big, kinda stocky, that's reopening his recruitment worth looking at? Guessing he'd be more of a "needs development" type guy, though.

The man loves Iowa state. I asked if there was any interest in a mailbag question a month ago to hines and malou favorited and retweeted it and I didn't even mention his avatar. You tweet anything about Iowa state and him he favorites it right away.

Hmmmm a top juco who loves ISU and plays a position we really need...but is not being recruited. What am I missing here?
New recruiting strategy. We're going to swoop in at the last minute and screw over all the teams that have put time and money into recruiting him.
Embarrassingly , I kinda feel like it would be nice to do this to someone else once. Have we ever swooped in late and got a high profile guy like that?
