Least favorite musical by far is that piece of **** Fiddler on the Roof. I ******* hate that thing.

Blas. Phe. My.

But I'm biased because that was my senior year musical in HS. I have not seen Wicked yet, but would love to.

Musicals I've seen live with professional companies:
Phantom of the Opera (2x), Rent, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Showboat

Would seeing Blast! also count?

Oh yeah, BTW CG, just to feed your obssession:

Stupid question, Sara...is that a membership level page on IMdB? I was just wondering what the content is like at that level. I use the site practically daily. ;)

The last few years my parents have done season tickets to a local community college arts series. Not many musicals, but lots of musicians. They also do quite a few shows at the Civic Center. In May they are taking the 5 oldest grandkids to see The Lion King in DSM. Little jealous.

Just found out I knew the guy that was killed in the house fire in Ames. Haven't talked to him in years though. Make sure you have working smoke detectors people!

there's a song in there my mother-in-law wanted to use for her dance with DH. I was standing back wide-eyed in horror because it sounded like a funeral dirge. There's another song from it though that DH likes to sing to.

Funny, you guys thought you would be ahead of Hugh Jackman? Have you been playing NO attention to the all of the musical talk here? The dude is an Aussie stud who can also SING AND DANCE, of course he is ahead of you!

I've been to The Lion King is Des Moines. It was pretty awesome. I had no idea what to expect going into it.
