New Transfer Target?

JBH's question is ridiculous imo. Just going on size and weight, he would have recruits asking about a lack of PT for Ellerman.

My question is fine. You either missed the point of my post, or chose to ignore it just so you could make a snarky response.

I never suggested going only on size. In fact, I specifically said that Edozie was a serviceable Big 12 player/rebounder who couldn't get on the floor even when ISU was getting killed on the boards.

Gibson never really got meaningful Big 12 minutes.

The post I replied to suggested going after bigger body rebounders instead of scorers. Given ISU's recent history, it would be perfectly reasonable for such a rebounder who may not have a great offensive game to wonder if he would get playing time at ISU.

This is a really distasteful and unnecessary comment. We really should strive to avoid pointless personal attacks.

Are there alot of 6-8+ rebounders with offensive skills out there?

In 2013-2104, ISU had a serviceable 6-9 255 lb guy on the roster and he couldn't get on the floor. This season, ISU had a 6-8 250 lb guy on the roster...a good rebounder and hard worker on defense by all accounts...who couldn't get on the floor, supposedly because he lacked offense. To be frank, If I was one of these rebounding bigs and ISU was after me, I'd want to know why I wasn't going to end up a benchwarmer like the last two...

You are right CFH likes 6'6 power forwards better.

From a production standpoint I'd take him. And size is somewhat irrelevant, especially size we have McKay now and might get Diallo, what is relevant is if guys are tough and can rebound.

Before you think you have a point, you have to prove either were serviceable Big 12 players. Gibson was one of the worst post players in the Big 12 to get real game minutes as a junior. Instead you blew right past that and made troll-level, clonedude-worthy leaps down the slippery slope.

We got killed on the boards due to our guards as much as we did Georges and McKay.

Ummm not thinking this is a good addition. I'm sure he's a good ball player, but at 6'6" you wold need to be charles barkley type. Big 12 has a ton of length.

I would hate to have a Charles Barkley next year..................................

Random question, maybe its been asked before, but why doesn't Iowa State go down into southern states like Texas or Louisiana to pick up front line reinforcements?
