He is 4.5 weeks.
Job search is mostly going good. Heard from one company today that I interviewed with a couple of weeks ago and they say they are still interested.
We are pretty sure we are going to move back regardless so just trying to figure out the process and logistics of that.

but for real, if a company messes up and refunds me the incorrect portion of an order, I don't have to call and deal with getting them to fix it, right? It'd be nice of me but not my stupid mistake. How can a system even let you refund the portion already delivered?

Joes to 1st have that combo? I tried shrimp & strawberries pizza once, glad somebody offered me a slice and I didn't order it, it wasn't my cup of tea. Not terrible but just not my favorite flavor combo.

I hope that's not directed at chaser...first, his history with online purchasing fiascos should tell you he isn't doing it right, and second, by his choices of pizza toppings, you should question his judgement or sanity.
As for your question, up to you. I once ordered 2 shirts from a company. I got shipment notifications on the same day of 2 different packages, and I'm like...jeez, just ship 'em together. I get them and first package has 2 shirts in it. Shirt 1 correct, shirt 2, wrong color. Second package comes and it has shirt 2, right color in it. Now, part of me thinks, sweet, free shirt, then another part of me says...not yours...plus the wrong color was kinda ugly. I e-mailed them and explained the error and said I'd be willing to send it back, since I didn't pay for it, but I didn't feel that I should pay for shipping, since it wasn't my error. They e-mailed me a fedex label to ship it back, and gave me a $10 credit (shirt was like a $25 shirt or so)
I could handle Sk & CB, but only because I love sauerkraut. Shrimp and Strawberries...that ain't even close to being right. I don't think I could do anything with shrimp on pizza unless it was just like a garlic cream sauce.

If I got shipped something extra, I'd totally ask about sending it back if they credited me the shipping. That ebates that I started going through gave me extra monies on something and I emailed about getting that corrected. They are like nope, we don't deduct credits so it's a bonus for being an honest customer! This is just like......annoying. I even clarified over the phone that I was cancelling the portion on backorder per their email. And the lady is like the "X brand item?" and I said, well there were several X brand items on the order. It was this specific item. Again, as per their email. She verified that yep, she saw that it is on backorder and would cancel it then. So now I'm like I don't care. I verified it with you and you still screwed it up. If they correct it, cool. But I feel like I'm not going to exert myself.
I was going to ask if stormchaser was bad luck shipping guy. Thought it was him.
dude, been there, done that. Even at 2am on my birthday like a proper Madisonite. Mac and cheese is actually pretty great.

I currently HATE basketball so gave in and watched Mockingjay Part I. I'm not the target demo group obviously but I was entertained. Lawrence singing that little folksy rallying song was pretty good. It was a strangely appealing rendition. Guess I'll have to watch the finale now.

you stop with your morals. I verified it with her and 45 seconds later I had a refund that was twice what I was expecting. I don't want to deal with their phone menu again.
