Here's my "keep this on the front page, oh the huge manatee' bump

Went for the cookies and comfort food for tonight (homemade mac and cheese with kielbasa).

Had a friend post on FB (not an ISU fan) and said her 7 yr old daughter picked UAB on her bracket because "she liked the letters". Worked out well for her.

When I was in first grade in order to see one of the MBB tourney games I made myself puke at school so I would get sent home. Plan worked to perfection until I asked my mom if the radio coverage had started.

I spent the rest of the day in my room...

And what year was that? Probably the year we watched live in MPLS. :p

Is anyone else getting a bit tired of the schädenfreude type threads people are posting about KU? To me, it's like saying "Yay, we won!...YOU LOST!!!!" instead of just "Yay, we won!" It feels like we're revelling more in KU's angst than in our victory. Maybe not angst...more like what KU is saying to console their losing the conference tournament a second time in a row.

If I'm way off base, let me know. I'm all about beating the best, and would like to see Wichita State beat them in the second round. But what I've been seeing on the board seems overkill.

I'll agree w/you some people can't be happy for themselves unless they can make someone else feel bad. I personally believe it's way worse on the internet than in real life. I hope that attitude doesn't carry over to real life.

I don't think it does. I "hate" Kansas and Iowa fans and love watching kansas and Iowa lose just so I can watch their internet fans melt down, but I would never be rude to a fan in real life because they might be really nice and polite.

Having said that, I also try to be nice online because I think how you act online is a better reflection of who you actually are as a person than how you act in real life

Fair to middlin', thanks for asking.

Most of the RT denizens avoid the jump off a cliff, point your fingers and blame everyone, fire the coaches and expel the players threads. You tend to live longer without the angst. :)
