NCAA Tickets for Des Moines

There were two prices, $270 & ~$220. I'm assuming the $270 are lower deck, but I suppose there's no guarantee. I talked to them on the phone because we ordered 3 and the order listed two lines, one with 2 and one with 1 ticket. The person on the phone assured me that all three would be together since they were purchased together. We'll see.

Pretty sure the pre-order is based on ISU donor level.
I will check.

It does state that seats are based on NCAA/host institution seating policies.
D

Well, then - I hope all of you people snarfing up tickets for resale profit donate less than we do, because we actually plan to attend the games. :)

For whatever this is worth, I spent some time looking at tickets for this year's NCAA tournament online. Not surprisingly there were very few lower-level seats remaining. But the ones in the upper deck were $228 or lower. So I'd be optimistic these are lower-level seats.

I would hope so. I would have also liked to at least have a basic chart showing the reasons for the price difference.

You are more than likely buying tix for KU or Wisco game. NOT the Iowa State game. I am not going to put in 500+ dollars on teams that I don't really care much.

Yeah, I feel bad not buying tickets, and would like to go, but fronting 500+ for tickets you won't see for a year (and don't know the location of) kind of sucks. Still might break and do it.

I just got the same e-mail again saying the tickets open up today March 18th at 10am. I already bought tickets on March 2nd, but originally had the same problem as everyone else. Do you think that e-mail was supposed to go out today instead and accidentally went out 2 weeks early?

I don't know, but I got this one. I didn't get the last one. I would think this one I got now because I am a student ticket holder.

I got it too...and we're regular season ticket holders who already purchased tickets a couple of weeks ago. I was under the impression that the allotment sold out, but maybe not?

A few weeks ago, when the link said that the sale hadn't started yet, I used the generic email address to send an inquiry. About a half hour later, I got another email saying that the announcement was in error, but they were going to sell tickets anyway. So I bought my 8 then. Hoping it will put me near the front of the line for some pretty good tickets.

Just bought 8 over the weekend from the link in the original March 2 email. I assume since it let me buy them that I am guaranteed to get tickets? I understand the seating location is determined by the the host school, which I assume translates to your Cyclone Club giving level.
