Wow...bizzy in here while I was away

Ahh, yeah, I think Mrs. hadda do that. I saw the 24 hour thing, and was thinking, WX...you gotta get back to Iowa, them Kansas Dr.s is weirdos.

NOT only that, it's a very, VERY special Pi day...At 9:26:53 it will be supercharged Pi day to 10 digits! 3/14/15 9:26:53=3.141592653

Wait, I thought you didn't do the religion thing? (not judging, but I thought I recalled that from past posts)

I left work early and made a stop for Big 12 championship preparations. Got an awesome mix of beers for the game. Toppling Goliath, Surly, and Lagunitas, which are very popular beers from Decorah, Minneapolis, and California. CG, if New Glarus was available in Iowa, it'd have been in the mix.

But, I'm back now, but prolly everyone else is gone....

DH is Catholic. So sometimes I'll use Lent as a "well let's try to give something up" even though he normally doesn't do that (just the meat thing) and not eating out seemed like a good one because it would save money for house and calories. Not that we eat out enough for it to really save a lot of money, ha.

Starting to think our Dr was overly cautious. We had to go to a high risk OB and have more ultrasound's than normal too.

it would seem to me in your case it was warranted. You mentioned your wife having high BP normally anyway? I would bet that would be enough for them to want a lot of urine tests. Again, not an expert but I would wonder why extra ultrasounds would have been needed. Unless they thought she was at risk for GD too and wanted to watch the growth.

Mine is almost always normal/below normal so hopefully that won't be an issue. Pre-E is nothing to mess around with.

So much baby talk.

It's like a Christmas get together on my mom's side of the family.

The last time ISU played KU in the championship game, my husband was there as a member of the pep band.

My hubby had graduated in Dec and was working his first job. I went to visit him in wxman's current town and we watched the game at his apartment. Still have it on VHS.

If we win I may just drive all around town all day tomorrow with the flag and magnet on the car. Shouldn't be too much since I only have a ISU thing where the front license plate is and a alumni plate holder on the back.

There's a girl who works at my local grocery store as a cashier and she's under 18 so she can't ID people for alcohol sales or press the "over 21" bypass button, but today when I was there she wasn't allowed to hand people their receipts when they paid with their cards. Anyone know why?
