I've got American Airlines on hold with my credit card info waiting for an answer.
but for reals, my future neighbors have an in-ground pool and hockey rink with rigged up lights. Birdy's kids will love it up here. Though the rink is probably melted now.
You two need to get here before 8:15am CST when the cookies are leaving my house. Although there is one lone cookie on my counter you could fight over. If I don't eat it for breakfast first.

Two hours until I make the trek from KC to Remsen.
I can't wait until my parents introduce me to someone back home and start the conversation off with, "Do you remember him/her? They were in <insert older sibling's> grade?" No, I was six at the time they graduated, Mom. smh
My dad did that with Jared Homan one year that I went back for Octoberfest. We were walking by Jared while he was drinking with some friends and my Dad taps him on the shoulder, says a few words and then goes, "Well I'll let you two catch up" and walks away.
Jared was probably in 4th grade when I graduated from high school. So now I'm standing there with his friends looking at me and I have to explain that my dad has no real concept of who knows who since he knows everyone in town. He was cool. We drank a bit and laughed about it, but it was really awkward.

just went to a work baby shower. Now that this "round" of babies is officially known and well on its way.....people are laying bets on me for the next one. Well, three of us. They're probably right, haha. One of them is in my same group and she's like yeah, it's likely. They decided next June. The third is getting married this fall and hinted at a honeymoon baby, so it looks like they're trying to set us up to be the round for next summer. Lot of work babies born May-June for us the past two years.
I didn't tell them I have to wait until at least Sept. 1st so I don't lose a bet to internet people.

Damn baby fever! My fiance is talking about a honeymoon baby. I kind of want to wait a bit and make sure we can sell the townhome first.
She's worried that because her mom had a hard time conceiving that she needs to try as soon as she can. That and she's got baby fever from all her friends popping out little ones.
I kind of want to be married a little while before we add baby stress, but I've been there before so it's hard to talk her down.
