My dad's records reminded me of the other part of his old stereo system. What was the name of the tape reels that played music, not the small tapes. The bigger reels where it would go through one side and wind up on the other side.

Irish car bombs
or just have Birdy make something awesome. That works too.

OK, I officially give up on taxes for today. Don't have the registration information for the wife's vehicle, so I'm not getting it done today, anyway, and I'm sick of sitting here wondering if I'm doing it right.
If only someone could recommend a good place to have my taxes done......
I saw Birdy's post and was like, can I mail her a check? Haha, that does sound good.
CG,
How about this:

I'll do your taxes. For a fee...
I have made them once, think I took those and mudslide cupcakes to a girls' poker night.
Oh, no, I'd need somebody professional, like H&R Block or something.
So here's the deal with work today...
With the retail job, I'm making out the schedule between me and another gal while our other co-worker snowbirds in FL. All it involves is taking a form, selecting who's working what days, and writing "7-11" M-Sa, then "10-2" on Sundays. The other gal has asked to work weekends because it meshes with her other work schedule. Great!
So at 7:27 this morning, I get a call from her asking when the store opens. I had accidentally put 7-11 on Sunday, so she showed up at 7. She's worked at least the past three Sundays, and we've opened at 12 (necessitating being there at 10) every single time. She then asks if I can work for her today because "I just drove 45 min [from Bloomfield], and I'm not waiting around 2 hours." *sigh* So, I went in. Yes, my fault I wrote the schedule wrong, but any common sense would have said "That's wrong/unusual...you should ask."
And of course, my mental faculties were not at 100% because I just woke up.
Geh.
This was probably much less exciting than I'm making it out in my head.....
Oh, the worm has turned...
I talked to my assistant manager this morning about yesterday, and she said "I talked to her about this..." Seems like my co-worker noticed the discrepency back on Thursday, and asked the asst. manager about it. She told her "Oh, no...that's a mistake, we open at 12 on Sunday." Not to mention, I was there for a few hours Thursday morning, and she saw me. Why didn't she ask then?
I'm not very happy with this...
