You're in Minnesota, right? Do they have the online option there? I just renewed mine online in January, and it's good for 8 years. Loved the process.
I wanted to do this, but I changed addresses, so I have to do it in person.

I was not offered the online option, went through the process and was like "you are a lucky one who gets to come into an actual site and get a new non-smiling mug shot picture!" Would've totally loved to keep my old license pic for another 8 years. And I always make the mistake of going in right around my birthday which coincides with spring break so all the college students are making sure they have the proper id for their trips.

I have to admit I was a little surprised they offered it to me at my age.

I think hubby was offered online renewal. Ours sre due the same year, he is about three months after me. Of course this was last year whenI had a 1r old and 2yr old at home. Had to get a bsbysitter just to go to the DMV.

p.s. If anyone can tell me why our ipad so whacked out after the latest update, I won't have as many typing errors. The lag in typing is ridiculous.

Done with work, in a few hours I'm off the the Well to watch my high school alma mater play for a State Championship.

Lots of basketball for me tonight. Wooster plays Marietta in the second round of the NCAA tournament and then Iowa state plays

Nevada just had our community sendoff with team getting a police escort (just out town not all the way to Des Moines). Time to leave, I'll check when I get home.

Catching up after the day alone with the boys (mom at a church thing), so this is gonna be CG/Birdy style:

Ate lunch in IC, they had the Iowa game on. Halftime behind the TV guys, there's no kidding, a 10-ish year old kid with a t-shirt on that says "In heaven there is no beer, that's why we drink it here"...dafuk?

Narwhals are the unicorn of the sea, if you didn't know.

th

(those with young kids will get that pic)

Rulzzz: I was reading this post:

Very quickly, and I caught "sendoff" as "standoff" and then police escort, and I was all "waay...whaa?" Then I read the whole thing more slowly.

Pants: Yeah, asians can be pretty well put together...their tendency for being somewhat short also can take a little and make it look like a lot.

Not for new address. I'm like 4 months behind, oops

I moved up a year before the wedding and didn't want to pay to get it changed then too, so I didn't get my license changed until I'd been living here for 14 months. I have no idea how legal that was. That was when we changed plates, too.

In North Liberty for my cousins daughters first birthday party. Pretty sure their neighborhood developer was a hunter. All the streets are named deer run doe run velvet and then...Browning.

Wow, I know right where you are talking, we used to live in that area (last house)...and while I was wasting time until it was time to pick up oldest at a b-day party, we drove by our old house.

So, depending on when you got there, we were pretty darn close.

Officials calling everything in the Nevada championship game, not really allowing either team to play much.

Oh, you know he's in your old house. The creepiness factor would be great with this one. Probably using you're old crapper as we speak.

So every morning my boss and his boss do a group conference call with myself and all of my peers going over our previous day results (I hate conference calls like this because it's a waste of time, in my opinion).

Anyway, to try to shake things up, he's had some of the veteran peers lead the call and it's been....interesting, to say the least.

Today he had Pantsy, the new(er) guy lead the call.

Later two peers, my boss and his boss have all called me and told me what an amazing job I did, and how I didn't back down when my peers that had a bad day tried to give canned answers to questions and etc.

It seemed all pretty basic to me, yet somehow it wowed everyone? It kind of worries me for everyone else.

Also, I think I just became the alpha of my group.
