Looking back on last week and the losses, it's really how we lost that hurts more then who we lost to. That being said, one thing that makes me feel better, or less bitter, is that we aren't going to finish one game behind KU and miss out on the conf championship because of the TT loss. Not gonna lie, that loss was going to haunt me if it cost us the title, so as disgusting as last week was, it helps lighted the disappointment of the TT game.

ISU wins out and KU loses @ Oklahoma and ISU finishes 1 game out of 1st in the Big 12. So...

Well we showed all week last week that we weren't deserving of the title, so even if this scenario happens, I won't be upset about the Tech lost. This team brought it on themselves.

And don't kid yourself, that loss Saturday was pretty close to as bad as Tech.

Tech beat kst, and Iowa St was up 14 against kst.

Kansas State is a team that, even when vastly under-performing , is still better than Tech by a long shot. May have been more painful to watch as we controlled the game pretty well throughout, and shot ourselves in the foot down the stretch, but outside looking in, no comparison.

Yup. Whatever the reason we were never in the Tech game until the closing seconds. ISU had their fighting chicken's claw on the Wildcats' necks and didn't close them out.

2 days wasn't enough to get any perspective?

KSU has beat 5 of top 6 Big 12 teams at home this year, but yeah it's pretty much the same as losing to Tech.

K State was good enough to beat Kansas, OU twice, and us. Credit where it's due, they aren't consistent, but they can ball when they decide to.

Considering the opponent, game statistics, and how the game played out, kst was the second worst loss of the season.

Want more proof that people will say whatever the **** the want and make crap up?

This morning I get to school and a teacher that typically stops me and talks to me about our love for the Cyclones asked me if I had heard any of the rumors as to whats been going on with this team. I said, what are you talking about? Her husband who's also a teacher told her that Niang is being investigated for fixing games. I almost choked to death I was laughing so hard.

We are 12 games over .500 and bound to make a splash in both the Big 12 and NCAA Tournaments. I'm tired of the folks making crap up and throwing a fit over a couple losses. Too many little diks pis sing in the same coke can in my opinion.

Let's get back on track tonight and kick some Sooner rear.

Still may have another shot at them lowly kittens.

Ha.

My dream world scenario for path to big 12 tournament championship would be Kst, Baylor, then KU. Unless we lose to OU tonight, then I'd probably replace Baylor with OU. This is just what would make me the happiest. I am not even expecting Iowa St to make another 3 games in 3 days run, but like 4 or 5 other teams in this conference, I wouldn't be surprised.

This was a week where you wish you could have just seen the final scores instead of watching the games or knowing any details.
