no real urgency/toughness to finish game. Looked liked they were ready to celebrate being in first prior to the game. Especially at the approx 7 min mark when we were up 5 or so and Gaithers left the game mad. When the game started again i said Baylor is going to win since they were more determined. part of my thought about that was that the clones were uncking it up and smiling and looking like they had won. We were playing well just prior to that but afterward we did not match Baylor--they did play well. Also often Niang takes quick 3's and the people that were not (Thomas and Long) did not get the ball either not wanting it or not going after getting it. Have to get the hot players the ball. And of course the 4 straight poor bounce passes to Georges from Hogue that were to the other team. Disappointed they could not match or surpass the determination that Baylor had. That has been the problem all year long. dont know how hard they have to play or just dont.

I have a different take. I don't think they were ready to celebrate. I think they started to panic. They looked like they were all thinking 'oh ****' once Baylor hit a few 3's and they missed some shots. They looked like a group of guys who knew exactly what was on the line and saw it slipping away and froze.

They probably did to an extent. To an extent, I think they did expect to win, and maybe let up their intensity just a hair as it looked like they had all the momentum and were going to pull away. When the exact opposite happened, I think they lost all momentum and became uncharacteristically discombobulated. We made some mistakes during that run, and they made every shot. Bad combination.
