You know it's cold when not only can you see your breath, but also the shadow of your breath.

I don't consider myself OCD, but I just noticed the pretzel sticks on my desk are all lined up and I've subconciously chewed the uneven ones to the same length. So not only do I have about 15 meticulously lined up pretzel sticks on my desk, but a number of them have bites out of them.

W.T.F?

Put the pretzel down and back slowly away from the desk....

been emailing my wife back and forth because she is is charge of her works March Madness bracket challenge this year. This is the last email I sent her

Yes you should have bracket turned in before start of 1[SUP]st[/SUP] play in game

(AND DON’T LET ANY HAWKS TELL YOU IT IS THE FIRST ROUND, THEY LOST IN A PLAY IN GAME LAST YEAR)

Please do us a favor and stay away from Palo. ;)

The backup cooling water for Palo is the lake impoundment at the Pleasant Creek Recreation Area. In a previous lifetime I designed those park roads and campground/beach layout. Flew over the park years after I worked on the master plan was shocked to see the roads built pretty much like I and this other young landscape architect minion for Smith-Voorhees-Jensen had laid them out.

Nice! How long after it was built did they do all that? My grandpa was one of lead designers and Q.A. guys for the plant and it's distribution system.

On the weekends he would go out and do inspections when no construction guys were therem. On weekends that my grandma worked (was a nurse at St. Luke's) he would take my dad and aunt along. They remember playing on what would become the reaction pit (or whatever you want to call it).

Smaller, but my CSB story is that if you're driving thru Iowa, look at the wood road sign posts and notice the hole drilled thru the post just above the ground....my idea. Actually, I think I've seen them in other states as well, but I can only claim responsibility for the Iowa ones...unless it spread from there.

I'm not even going to try to catch up on missing four days of missing this thread.

I had to watch the Bachelor tonight. He got rid of the one that looked like the most fun to bang.
