I'm not really upset, just disappointed. I'm excited for the tournament tho. I get to miss 3 days of school to watch basketball, can't beat that.

Am I the only woman in the world that is not breathlessly anticipating the movie "50 Shades Of Grey"?
Mrs. Velo enjoyed the book (and so did I ;-) )however she doesn't seem terribly interested in the movie.
Channel flipped by a Woodstock film earlier and her blue eyes sorta '60s hypnotized me for a few minutes.
I do need a vacation!
I have to work tomorrow and don't really want to.
Maybe? I don't know, probably not. I'm not into it BDSM at all, so it doesn't have an appeal to me. Otherwise I could see the appeal.
Also, I didn't watch or listen to the game tonight because I was working on my thesis (I just knew things weren't going well when my dad texted asking if I was watching the game and saying it was probably a good idea I wasn't), but it's a little interesting to me that this will probably be the most boring year of Iowa State basketball season for me. At this point, most of my time is spent working on it, or procrastinating from working on it.
No...but I think I touched on it last week...some women at work were talking about it and were telling me that Mrs. 00clone would be looking forward to it or sneaking out to see it. She assured me she's not.
Well, there are probably some men who are looking forward to it for what they hope it will do to the women in their lives and reap the benefits, but I think that's probably short sighted on their part.
I honestly think the whole thing is a treatise in very effective, but the worst kind of marketing tactics....find a weak spot (lack of true intimacy in many relationships), create an easy to digest package and use it to put forth a solution and simultaneously create a need (phony intimacy thru intense situations <BDSM>) and do it in a way that's socially acceptable but still plucks that string. There's a very good reason the producers of the movie did a lot of work to get an "R" rating rather than NC-17...they knew the 'nice girls' wouldn't go to an NC-17 movie, but I suspect they did a lot of work to pack as much of that message into the "R" rated movie.
To be fair, though, it's not like this movie is really that much different from many other movies in that aspect...but that's the one that's the *big* topic lately (also part of the marketing scheme...keep it in the forefront)
You are not alone. Haven't read the books, either. And I could not tell you the last time I went to see a movie. I bet I didn't step into a theater all of 2014. And probably all of 2013, too.

My vote is the strawberry pretzel dessert. I don't like cherry pie. I did just pin a strawberry pie bars recipe on my Sweet Eats board recently.
I am making this white chocolate raspberry cheesecake.
