Kansas fans

We've seen the "we can't finish ahead of you so you must be cheating" take. Now it appears it's moved on to "well yeah, you'll finish ahead of us again, but you couldn't beat those OTHER teams." You guys are the best.

The funniest part of it is when you saw KU get whipped by UK and Temple, you thought ISU had a chance in the Big 12 this year.

Actually, the funniest part is how red, swollen and chapped your azz seems to be.
Relax, you're taking these threads too seriously!

So what trump cards are involved in Kansas fans booing just as much ISU fans? And is ISU your top rival or threat?

Do they hang banners for who boos less or more? No? Then boo all you want, I don't care. And who knows if ISU is actually the biggest threat in the Big 12 these days. Most thought they were at the beginning of the year but people also thought Texas was good at the beginning of the year and now they look NIT bound. Ask me that question in five years and I'll have a better answer for you. Right now KU really doesn't seem to have a rival.

Based on your nearly 4600 posts, we must be to at least you...

The sting of that loss is dulled significantly by the fact the KU still won the Big 12. Will ISU be able to say the same about their embarrassing loss to Tech?

I don't know. All I know is there is one line from that article that stand out:

According to Jerry Palm of CBSSports.com, there has not been a wider differential in RPI rankings between an upset winner and its victim than TCU (No. 236) and KU (No. 7) in the two decades he has been tracking the ratings.

Ouch!

It's interesting that a loss to a team other than ISU means so much to you. Congrats!

All fans boos, and that includes KU fans. But KU fans don't boo nearly as much as ISU fans. From Monday's game, I could cite 3 calls in the first 10 minutes of the game that went against KU in which we didn't boo. When we play at Aimes, almost every call that does go ISU's way results in boos; not matter how obvious. So maybe we boo about 70% of the calls that go against us, but ISU boos 99% of the calls that go against them. Also, there is a large discrepancy in the volume of the boos. The average call against KU results in a scattering of boos. The average call against ISU sends my sub-woofer into overdrive.

"Most people" when we were picked 5th by the coaches and all the talk was only Texas as a contender?

I agree that it's not a true rivalry yet but your fans sure are trying to encourage it with all their signs in the crowd and posts on this board and KU boards. I have no problem admitting KU is our biggest game of the year and had it not been a rough stretch from 02-11 it would definitely be one now.

I'll give you a little hint.....if it bothers your fan base, don't expect it to stop. Coming here and complaining about it probably makes the booing worse. We're a fan base proud of our booing. If you find it appropriate or not is not a concern to us.

That is an excellently biased opinion you have.

Excellent; it has come full circle.
