Fred Hoiberg Infiniti Voting

Voted. What bugs me is that we are losing ground, but Matt Painter isn't.

The other coaches are gaining a few percent. Not a big deal if he loses some ground. It will be a big deal if he loses the whole thing. We've got to keep voting every day for the next few months.

It will be important when the next round starts to get Fred off to a good start because if a coach or coaches get a big lead it will take more people posting to catch up. I know a lot of you are on social media and that seems to get around the world so when the next round starts would someone please get the word out. Fred's charity is not only the cancer fund but from what I read it stays in Iowa.

Okay, I'm mad at ESPN now. Danged east coast bias...

I almost forgot to vote yesterday, so at about 11.45pm I voted. Tried to vote this morning and it says I already voted today. I guess us midwesterners need to vote before 11.00pm each day.

I think it is 24 hours per person. I am not entirely sure though. Also, I think the CT timezone is the best. You get everything live but it is 1 hour earlier.

The Painter boomlet seems to have trailed off and I think if we can keep everyone voting the way they have been, we can coast to victory in the first round.

Being wonkish, the ESPN website is not clear if the voting is independent per round or if it is cumulative for all rounds. If it is independent per each round, Fred is easily in, and we need to focus on voting for the less populated fanbase school to bump a bigger school out of the next round...e.g. it would be better to vote for Larry Brown now to bump the UConn coach (ESPN home base too) or Alford out of top 24 and preeempt that huge east coast or LA vote ginning they could do later. I see Izzo at 16 now or so......I would love to see him bumped in round one or two before they orchestrate some screw job on us.
If the vote is cumulative, of course, vote for Fred all day everyday.....will need to withstand the rush from the big school fan base at the end. Some clarity on the voting tabulation would be appreciated.
I voted for Jamie a few times.....I feel like he deserves more votes for his great performance. Most of Pittsburgh is on meth and not voting right now.

Found it in the rules:

"There is a limit of one (1) vote per person, per e-mail address, per ESPN registrant, per day (24-hours from 12:00 AM EST) for the duration of the Voting Period."

We will need to remember that our 24-hr period here in the central timezone runs from 11pm to 11pm. Oh well - it was only one lost vote, and he's still at 23%. :)

I went to youtube and watched some of the other videos they made for other regions. Fred's is by far the best I have seen so far. Followed up by Tom Izzo's telethon.
