Due to a certain class in Middle School I swore to never wear white pants.... scared me for life.

Was it you or a friend that wore them? Some things about being homeschooled were pretty nice. This would have been one of them.

If you can get it, I'd recommend delice de bourgogne for the cheese. They have it here at the hippie food store. Like the best thing I've ever ate...and yes, it's above pork fat. The description they use is "Like butter, but better"..and it's true. It's a soft, rind cheese, and the shelf life isn't that long, but once you taste it, it doesn't need to be that long.

Might be too fancy for the people picking, but then again, if I'm the one getting it....what's it taste like? I had been thinking a marscapone made locally.....oh I could get crackers too! If that's still under $15. Or this fancy wine cheese someone always brings to treat days. Made with port wine or something. Sounds gross but it's delish.

I hope this never happens to me

I have worn tan or off white now, but I sadly can't bring myself to a pure white. Oh well.

I'm more worried now that I'll spill stuff on them but yeah, I've never had pure white skirts/pants/shorts. I have a lot of blue and red tops though, so they'd look really nice.

So it's kind of like Brie? You can spread Brie with a knife.

ask DH what he's doing for his exchange gift. "oh maybe something alcohol, some food like cheese or nuts"

what is this? You can't just copy what I do!

hmm maybe he can do fancy cheese and beer. I'll do the wine and chocolate. Maybe fudge from the fancy place down the street. Then we both pick our own gifts. This plan has merit.

that's the plan, though also red flats or sandals for summertime.

Those with white crop pants would be very cute.

I swear I will never wear white bottoms. Not just because of the scenario cyrev alluded to, but that I'm a klutz and a dirt magnet.

I mentioned the mint kisses yesterday or Monday. Today I tried a different one and realized it's a solid addition for my exchange gift. shoot, we could do that for the white elephant thing Sunday.

I'm semi-curious to see how long I could have them before dropping my lunch on them. But yeah, I'm thinking skinny jeans so I can wear them in winter with flats/boots and then roll up for summer if I don't want them long. But I cannot find ones that are either see-through or super ill-fitting. It seems like white denim has less give than regular denim or something.

They have been working on the bridge outside of my office for the past week. Near as I can tell, they succeeded in raising the first 10 feet of the guard rail about 2 feet. It's the perfect height so now we can't see traffic coming across the bridge unless we pull into traffic. Brilliant!

ok, I'm laughing at how true this is. Now imagine DH's daily life. Maybe crashing the car wasn't an accident :wideeyed:

I just assume everyone is following along with my train of thought. DH often mentions that no, not everyone does the stream of consciousness thing.
