Heh...no, I just remembered her liking a post I disagreed with earlier, so when she said she hadn't been in there, just hadda go back and find it.

Honestly, while I disagreed with that assessment, what really was the worst about that crowd was just the sheer insistence on their opinion being right and everyone else being wrong, no matter what.

Random again...something I've noticed the last week or so...an ad on the MSN frontpage:

Not a computer geek, but I know about targeted ads, so I'm assuming the sports theme is targeted, but I wonder if the ISU content is targeted, and there's a different one for every team, or if that's just a co-winkey-dink? I mean, I find it hard to believe that they just happened to choose ISU for their ad...

Here's my thing: I don't think it was premeditated...an effort to generate more heat under the coaching seat. Nor do I think it will be seen much beyond the confines of the Cyclone faithful, and therefore will not have quite the impact that stormin et al think.

However, it was rash and unprofessional (IMO), and those are a couple of hallmarks of my view of our president and his managerial skills.
 
I could also see that by the time I started reading it, the debate had deteriorated. Kinda pointless to comment then.

Side note - for some reason my laptop keeps booting me out and I have to log in every time I refresh the pages or look for new posts in threads. It's really annoying. Anyone have any insight?

OS: Windows 8
Browser: Firefox

About 3 months ago I was forced into an "upgrade" of Windows 8 that literally crashed my whole damn laptop. We had to take it in & get it wiped, then reload everything (we were about a week shy of the expiration date on my geek squad protection...yay us!). Prior to that episode I had no problems with CF. Now it's a pain in the patootie.

Have I mentioned how much I hate Windows 8????

Any thoughts or theories?

Not a computer expert, but have you checked for cat hair?

KC, my computer was acting all goofy,took it to my computer guy and he reset it. had to reenter my user name and password and all has been fine since. Hope this helps.
