First family Christmas today. And with the side of my family that has a bunch of Iowa grads.. so hopefully it will be a good time.

Outside of work I always wear either boat shoes or flip flops and I kick *** every day, so take that for what you will.

Went to a local t-shirt shop...they said something about having kid's clothes, thought our boys would like shirts form our school. I have a sweatshirt from there, but was wearing my ISU one. While there, the wife asked if they had any UNI stuff, since I have to get a gift for Misogynistic BIL, and he's a UNI grad (which, honestly, when she asked, I was thinking...why are you asking that...the store is tiny, you can see there's no UNI stuff). The lady said no, sorry...and we don't have any Iowa State stuff either. While she wasn't being outright snotty, she wasn't saying it to 'be helpful', so I responded..."after last night, you might want to stock some". CSB, I know...ended up finding nothing...$21 for a kiddos t-shirt...when the adult T's are $15...no thanks.

I'll take a hard liquor over beer most any day. But few have ever tried claiming a 25 year old single malt scotch is sweet tasting.

I'm thinking drugs are what I need. I'm just not sick enough to justify an emergency room visit over the weekend. I should have gone to the doc yesterday but I just didn't feel like getting up & dressed & going outside. Doesn't help much that PapaLew is working all weekend.

Nah...it's a stupid kinda chronic thing. I caught it last year also. Mycoplasma pneumonia (walking pneumonia). Exhaustion, dry cough that's worse at night, headache, low fever off & on, tightness in my chest & shallow breathing. Antibiotics will knock it back pretty quickly.

Tried urgent care, Rabbuk...they're booked.
