All 10 coaches out recruiting today. Sounds like no staff turnover to me. I would say that is probably a good thing. Some understandably would disagree.

Re: Coaching Changes [officitally offseason]

I honestly don't think most of the problems on the side of the ball where changes would possibly come have to do with coaching. CPR put way too much effort into recruiting solid players at the offensive skill positions that the defense suffered. With next year being win big or go home, I don't think making changes would be smart.

6 out of 9 assistants haven't even been at ISU for a year yet. I agree that no coaching changes should take place if you are keeping Paul around.

They told Wally to go out recruiting. Really the just sent him to a Big Boy restaurant and he's been recruiting that statue for a few hours now.

Dudes face hasn't changed, so Wally isn't liking our chance, but he isn't giving up!

Our class is currently the worst ranked power 5 class & tied with South Alabama who just finished their 3rd season as a division 1 FBS team.

Re: Coaching Changes [officitally offseason]

The problem right now is recruiting, obviously part of coaching. Wally is a good coach, CPR is a good coach, Mangino is a good coach. There is not a coach in America that would be successful with the defensive talent we now have. Obviously that falls on the coaches. In 2012 we had 6 players playing defense that have had at least a cup of coffee in the NFL, out of 11. They were a good defense that carried the inefficient offense. Right now we have zero guys that are likely to play there that are currently playing, or they are currently redshirting or are very young and haven't developed into that type of player yet.

The fact that we gave up 6347 total yards, 126th in country, and he gets to keep his job is ridiculous.

Numbers will be skewed more negative than normal because we won't be signing many kids due to a small senior class.

Well that is pretty much the most depressing thing I have read this week.
Holy crap do we need to find a way to bring in some talent.

Anyone have a quick link that helps track overall recruiting per school that isn't subscription based?

I'm in agreement. If you aren't **** canning CPR, then everyone should stay. I hate it when head coaches can assistants to appease a bad season.

It's a top down job.

Honestly, no DC would want to come in knowing that it is a make or break season for the head coach next year. That is way too much pressure. At this point, keep everybody and see how the dice fall.

I am excited to see how our RB's look next year with Ayeni Coaching them. It hasn't been a strength, but I saw a difference in Wimberly being harder to tackle, and getting through holes. Blaney also did a nice job with the OLine. He has Campos with some experience now, and I think the change in attitude can continue. I fully expect out OLine to be better next year.

Also, I am interested to see how the Mangino's recruit.

These guys need to have a great 3 months of recruiting. Should be plenty of urgency. Now lets land 3 JC DL, 2 JC LBs, 2 JC DB, and 1 more JC OL to end the season.
