Walking Dead

What is the deal with all the markings on the trees around the church? At first I though the Terminus people made them, then I thought maybe Gabriel made them, now I have no clue. Are those markings what Morgan is following? Did he make them? Does he know Gabriel?

The Morgan story has been a total tease and I have a feeling that Morgan will only encounter the group at the end of the season. Last episode of the season cliffhanger.

That would so much like TWD writers. They will show us 10 second clips on a weekly basis, then the scene where they meet will be a 20-minute story told in 5, with a jarring cliffhanger ending to hold us over until fall 2015.

I thought that was Rick leaving breadcrumbs for Morgan, although I have no idea what that symbol means nor why Morgan would interpret it as a message from Rick.

Was hard to feel much for Maggie when she didn't even remember she had a sister until she found out they went to get her. Too obsessed with finding Glenn. However, when Daryl cried, I got teary eyed too. He knew just how far Beth had come. And obviously her last few weeks had not been great with the cuts on her face and her cast on her arm.

Yeah - I felt worse for Daryl than I did for Maggie...

idk. When Rick left Morgan, he was in crazy town. Doubt he would leave markings for the crazy man to find his group. I am guessing it is someone not yet seen.

^Yea I felt pretty bad for her on Talking Dead. You've basically been fired, have to leave all your friends, and move somewhere, but still have to go on Talking Dead and talk about it. She's a good actress, hope to see her in something else soon.

Plus im sure this holds a bit more affect for her compared to some other actors as this was sort of her 'big break'. She'd not done much aside from single episode minor character roles before this.

Was Beth even in the 2nd half of last season? It's not like she was in every episode anyways.

When Beth said to Dawn, "Now I understand". I still did not understand Dawn. Did you support her decision, not support them. Was she right, wrong? Why did she request Noah back? That just didn't make sense to me. If she was concerned about their proposal, why not make a legitimate pitch for them to join, open a discussion of ideas to change that hospital for the better? The arc was strange but always goes back to the same thing, you can't trust people. People are more dangerous than the walkers.

Seriously, Beth was getting solid as a character late last season. Sucked to see her go last night. Especially when lame characters like Eugene/Gabriel/Tyrease remain. Any one of those 3 can go at any time.

The markings on the trees are from the cannibals. They explained it a few episodes back as a way to find their way back if they wanted too. Morgan picked it up and followed it, which lead to him finding the map and eventually catching up with Rick and company in the second part of the season.

And this season has been great. Much better than past seasons.

Thanks, that makes sense now.

Of course she was. She escaped the prison with Daryl. You had that episode where Beth wanted her first drink, first at the golf course clubhouse (which is where she got that yellow polo from), then at the moonshine distillery that they eventually burned down while flipping it off. Then the next episode was at the funeral home where Beth was ultimately kidnapped by the police officers.

I thought Beth's death was more for shock value, than an actual plot development that made sense. Not any real reason for her to do what she did and get herself killed. Kind of a poor ending to this half season which has been very good.

Yeah... honestly it disappoints me because i felt her growth was one of the most interesting things the show had going for it.

Huge reveal on the talking dead for any comics folks about how they will be introducing a gay character from the comic next season. If the plot is anything like the the comic it could set up a huge running subplot from the comic that has spanned a really long timeframe.

I did not think he was leaving breadcrumbs for Morgan. Morgan seemed please when he found the map with Rick's name on it. I could be way wrong though, I feel like I have been way off on all my predictions.

I have done some digging and if you go back to Morgan's episode in season 3 or 4, they circle with the x in it is all over his walls with the maps of the town. I think it is Rick that is leaving them, his way of communicating to Morgan, if he is still out there.

But who really knows.
