Tough loss. Lots of missed opportunities. The season isn't over yet. Let's see what CPR can do with what is left of the team. 100% negativity will not help this program... it's not like we get the top draft pick for finishing last! ... Now you can bash me instead of the team!

We are talented enough to compete with and even beat Texas Tech. But at this point, does it really even matter?

Well, at least we saw some adjustments at halftime! ISU should have won this game easily. The team wasn't ready to play. That is on CPR. How many of our starters from the summer are still around?

I really can appreciate your stick-to-it-ness. I have jumped ship because I honestly feel like the kids have quit on CPR. That is the beginning of the end of things if that is truly the case.

"Lots of missed opportunities."

That's what is killing Rhoads.

The blowouts (especially the super-blowouts) don't help, and the bad losses have piled up.

But I could list at least eight "missed opportunities" in the past six seasons that would have kept him firmly on the safe side for at least another season. Not just games ISU "probably should have won" — close losses. About half of them are vs. KSU.

I can't say if the team has quit on him, but the fans are starting to turn on him. When Iowa State fan base begins to fragment, it's a bad sign, because ISU fans are usually patient to a fault.
Note: It's stick-to-itiveness.

I love our cyclones but I think the quickest way to get Rhoads out is to not have butts in the seats. As much as I would love to go to the remaining games, I will not attend another game with Rhoads as our coach. Nothing against the guy, he just can't get it done.

negativity, or positivity for that matter, of a bunch of overemotional fans on a message board effects the play on the field in absolutely no way.

people have every reason to be ****** when the players have quit and the coaches are mailing it in.

The season was over when NDSU **** pounded us. Have fun clinging to the CPR failboat.

I'll still watch and cheer. But yesterday's loss deflated me. A lot.

I've seen your pictures, you could use a little deflating.

:pwink:

As for me, I'm sticking with this beer, until it's clear that it's time for it to go, then I'll jump to the next one. Thankfully, I don't have a huge buyout onna beer to worry about.

Thats funny that you gave me the correct way to use it. I typed it out as stick-to-it-ivness, but then second guessed myself by asking, "what the hell does the "iv" have to with it? So I left it out even though it didn't sound right. Turns out I still wouldn't have had it exactly right.

You'll come around.
