A booster of the program says "Hey, I just happen to be taking my plane to the exact same cities that you need to go to at the exact same time. Wanna tag along?"

That would have to be pretty coincidental wouldn't it? I would think it'd be more of a "Hey, I'm really rich, borrow my plane when you need to".

Some are suggesting that the AD paid for it?

Sure, the AD could have paid for a chartered flight. It's not really that big a deal. Coaches do it all the time for recruiting.

Chris Clarke, who recently committed to Tennessee, has decommited and pledged with Virginia Tech in the wake of the NCAA investigating UT coach Donnie Tyndall for things he allegedly did at Southern Miss. This is according to Gary Parrish.

We were after Clarke for awhile, and I recall Hines saying the staff was confident we would get an official, but never did. Not sure which side cooled in the recruitment. I have a hard time believing we would say no to that kid.
