Can someone please explain to me how we look like ronald mcdonald???? I mean, he wears yellow and gold, we wear yellow and gold. USC wears yellow and gold. But.....now we look more like it? I have a female coworker that looks just like Grimace. Its hilarious. She has the personality of eeyore
2 things-
1) I have word from the inside that the picture tweeted has everything a little brighter than the unis in person and they are, in fact, a little darker (almost gold) color and not the bright yellow
2) For those that want new helmets, you don't need to actually buy new helmets to get a new look. There is a company down in Texas (with Iowa connections) That makes helmet-sized stickers that I know several schools have used when it comes to alternate helmets. Its really not that big of deal the way I understand it to do that. Just takes some time.

I know others have said this, but we should have the hamburgler as an honorary mascot and then put him in a ref uniform

That was not yellow on yellow it was yellow tops with the cardinal pants and that was truly terrible. The yellow on yellow looks better than that by a mile.
Yes because of the helmets. Solid colors with different colored helmets in football suck IMO with a small number of exceptions.
