Cy-Hawk fear...

I've met JM in person at a charity event. He left halfway through it and when he was there he was on his cell phone the entire time. I was on the committee that organized the event and it has been a running joke since that we will NEVER extend that invitation again.

Well good :)

I try to call it like I see it. We found him to be quite pompous. All of the other local "celebrities" at the event stayed the entire time and were very gracious. Including golf coaches from Iowa, ISU, and UNI. I understand he has a family so it's entirely possible he had something else going on. Don't want to throw him under the bus too much without knowing the entire situation, but he certainly didn't come across well that day.

When they had their NINETEEN YEARS OF NON WINNING SEASONS, something most younger Iowa fans have no idea about, they didn't play ISU for 16 of those. Iowa wasn't just not having winning seasons, some of those teams were just darn right TERRIBLE. Most of those years, ISU would have won.

Where does Iowa's losing streak sit in the longest losing streaks in college football history? Wasn't it more than 2 full seasons and I thought was once the longest.

Thats nice but a long time ago. I consider the one, three, five, and ten year records vs a particular team as significant. So this year against Iowa is particularly significant.

Kind of like Iowa State and Iowa only wanting to play UNI and Drake at home or a neutral site in basketball. Funny, when the shoe is on the other foot.
