While that may be true, we're trying to say that NDSU gets the recruits that are the scraps of FBS football that even we won't take.

I am still missing the point, but whatever. Anyone talking **** in this thread and not worried about playing this team is either delusional or stupid.

So instead of fighting back against rude trolls like lakes, you'd rather us not talk any smack and not stand up for ourselves? That's the same logic kids that get beat up in school.

Of your 12 posts, 3 are about ISU football. All are negative. Add that to the stupid handle and avatar. Go troll somewhere else.

Besides, Walden4VicePrez, lakes is asking for it with all of the ridiculous stuff he says. He's trolling on our board and saying some of the dumbest things, so if you're not arguing with lakes and his statements that make us laugh because they're so ridiculous, then you aren't in the right place.

7 returning starters or 7 returning players that have started a game? Because you fail to realize they're two different things.

7 Returning starters. We've been over this so many times, but here it is again since people still seem confused:
2 SR safeties: 3 years starting experience, both started as freshman
1 JR CB: Started 1 year
3 SR LB's: 1 3yrs starting, 1 2 yrs starting, and 1 just started last year
1 SR DE: 2 years starting experience

Overall, of the 7 returning starters, 3 of them have been starting since they were freshman. I like the fact that our returning starting experience (3 LB's, 3 DB's 1 DE pass rusher) match up with the strength of your team (skill positions). I would be much more worried if we had lost most of our secondary and fast LB's, but we didn't. This makes us confident in the defense we will be bringing to Ames August 30. #20 Colten Heagle is the one fans like to watch cuz he hits like a freight train. Very excited to see him go against one of the best TE's in the nation in Bibbs and if he will be able to contain him, along with our OLB Travis Beck. Will be an excellent test for our experienced defense.

If you want to play that game, we have 13 returning starters on offense and 7 on defense. You still lost a bunch of experience on your defense, but I assume the backups are "better" right?

And what about offense? You are going to have to score at least a few points to win. How many returning starters are you counting on O? 14?

Play what game? One of your cyclone members was still asking if we had 7 returning starters or 7 guys that have started a game. Not sure where you are going with this, i was responding to a question and giving information on the 7 guys we do have returning, basically saying if i had to pick people to return, i would want those 7 since those are the guys that we will depend on to cover your skill positions.

Yes, you have more returning starters, that wasn't the question. We have 3 returning starters on O, that is a huge question mark as i have stated many, many times. Just excited to see our experienced defense go up against some big 12 caliber athletes and see how they do, that's all I was saying.

Do stars and offers really mean the world to you? I am pretty sure, once a player commits or signs that all other offers are removed from their rivals link. I looked at the rival link for your QB Sam Richardson, and he doesnt have a single other offer listed.. and he was a three star recruit. I am guessing he got an offer from somewhere else. Point is.. rivals really doesnt determine, how good/crappy a player may turn out. Sure, there are cant miss people on it.. but anything after 4 stars is guess work.

216 pages? Holy hell. I can't wait until we play a real non-directional school.

You guys, Lakes is right! We don't stand a chance in this game! They are THREE TIME NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! THREE! Plus they have oil money. And if Wisconsin and Nebraska don't want to play them, we sure as hell shouldn't want anything to do with them! Can't we just skip this game and get directly into Big 12 play. I mean that will be much easier than going up against this powerhouse.

Better??

I haven't read the whole thread. Bison1 is really a Clone fan? Awesome that we turned one over to the good side or pathetic that we are creating fake troll accounts to inpersonate fans from a D2 school.

Grammer/typo error.. oh well. You get an A for the day in observation.. I on the other hand better have another cup of coffee to wake up

At least Bison1 is not a jerk. He doesn't talk a lot of smack and respects us fans.

That's what I was thinking from what I have read. Just surprised me a little bit.

Continue on, non-troll Bison1. Maybe we can convert you yet.

And don't forget the chip, they have a chip on their shoulder.

He committed right after his HS teammate Easton Stick who was. QB recruit that turned down big 10 Rutgers for ndsu. So RJ followed him right away without waiting

My sources are telling me he was actually going to commit first and that is why the All American QB committed.

***Warning!!! this thread contains an extreme amount of trolling and trash talking going both ways. If you do not understand that none of the views and opinions hereby expressed are of a personal nature, please continue on to another thread.***

Felt I needed to put that out there, since some people are getting their panties in a t
wist. For the record, we do respect NDSU as an opponent and are just having some fun with their fans and trolling back when trolled. No hard feelings.

You forgot to add they won a softball and basketball game once too. They also have a wrestling team!!! LB says that this means they are ready for the big time!!!!

I have however enjoyed guys like Bison1 and their contributions to this dumpster fire of a thread. Actual intelligent discussion. Sharp contrast to the last 6 months of "if you don't like my stupid comments you're just a jealous nerd and I have a better life than all of you. Now I'm off to a pretend party with Magic Johnson!"
