Sweet corn stands?

Help please! Has anyone seen or heard of any sweet corn stands in the Ames/Nevada area? My brother-in-law and his wife just moved up here from southern Alabama and their family is here for the weekend. I really want them all to try some "real" sweet corn, but can't find any stands in the area.

I saw that there are some in Grimes and the DM area, but don't want to drive that far if I can avoid it.

There was a stand at the Swift Shop on 24th a couple of days ago. Haven't checked to see if they are at the corner of grand and 13th at the Kinetico water place yet. Try those 2 places though. Or else the farmers market in Ames/DM tomorrow.

They were there yesterday afternoon at 24th and grand.

There is a stand in front of Mercy North in Ankeny (north side). Not quite as far as DM.....

Farmers Market @ North Grand Mall, Ames (North end) on Saturday mornings would be a good place to check.

The stand in Ankeny on 1st by the carwashwasn't there yesterday when I was coming home from work. The sign was, i just haven't seen the truck there yet. I'm hoping it will be soon. Love me some sweet corn!

13th and Grand in Ames yesterday. Wasn't a lot of corn there but it was almost 5 o'clock so they might've sold a bunch.

Thanks, I went by the 13th and Grand location about 10 this morn, no sign of a stand. I figured they'd at least be setting up by then, will check out the Swift Shop locale.

I bought some there about an hour ago (around 5.30). They may set up later in the day.
