I find it is more fun to just watch EPL games without a team. So many American fans will pick a team and try to force the rivalry here in the states. The problem is both fans just picked a team at random (popular) and the smack talk is weak.
That's how the vast majority of Hawkeye fans become Hawkeye fans. They grew up in the 70's and 80's, didn't go to school at Iowa, but back then Iowa was dominant so that's who they chose to be fans of. Bandwagon jumpers.
Who is the Iowa State of the English Premier League? You know, a team that has seen limited success and is trying to do more with less.
I will add this, the nice thing about the EPL is the games on Saturday and Sunday morning before College and NFL games. So I will usually wake up, watch that (ESPN Gameday just doesn't do it for me anymore) then watch some good old American Football.
That would probably best describe Everton, at least of the EPL teams that have the most success.

Sure we lost but we put up one hell of a fight. 2018 looks to be a stellar year already. Yedlin, Brooks, Green will have experience under their belts, Gyau should have some first team playing time by then (Just moved over to BVB to play for their Reserve team), Zelalem should be eligible for the US and even play for US (Arsenal Prospect), We still have Altidore and Bradley (Bradley will probably have the armband by then). I think there's a great Keeper coming up too.

English Premier League is really good, and you can find it on TV. MLS isn't close to this quality, but hopefully this showing will greatly improve that product in the years to come.

I'm not a huge fan of soccer, and don't get a lot of the intricacies of the sport. But, I'm enough of a sports fan to tell you I have been incredibly entertained by some of these matches. The athleticism and teamwork of the sport is just astonishing. It awesome to watch plays develop for literally minutes sometimes; make sure the spacing is right, the players are in the right spot, the defense is giving the offense the look it hopes/wants, etc.

I would agree with that. Plus Howard is their goalkeeper, so you get to watch Timmy play. So if you wanted to pick a team, that would be a good one.
If anyone wants to watch the Bundesliga, Hannover 96 could always use more fans.

Zusi? I would have thought Bradley covered more ground, especially since he played about 40 more minutes.
EDIT: Zusi covered just under 6 Bradley covered almost 10.5

Everton's a good team to back.
They're in the Europa League this year (It's the NIT of European Soccer) and I think they have the third best odds to win it. (Winner gets a trophy and qualifies for the Champions League of the next season, which is basically the March Madness of Europe.)
