Future B12 WBB Tournament Sites

They'd be fools to move the men's tourney out of KC. Bringing the women back too would make the most sense. If they only averaged 4,000 in OKC, I don't care of the complaints of Sulkey Mulkey and Cherry Cola, they aren't going to draw down south like KC.

Interesting thought to have the Men and Women play in Sprint Center at the same time. I would think it would be very easy to do and wouldn't mess with TV at all.

Tuesday AM- Women's Play-in
Tuesday PM- Men's Play-in

Wednesday AM- Women's 1 & 2 Seed Quarterfinals
Wednesday PM- Men's 1 & 2 Seed Quarterfinals

Thursday AM- Women's 3/6 & 4/5 Quarterfinals

Friday AM- Women's Semifinals
Friday PM- Men's Semifinals

Saturday AM- Women's Final

I actually think this could be a cool concept. It does add an extra day when the first day already is kinda slow and down for attendance, but it could be pretty cool.

Great sense of humor. Having the women play all games in the morning is like 9th grade basketball getting last dibs on the gym.

it's not sense of humor. It's common sense. MBB more popular than WBB so it gets top billing. I like Chuck's layout.

That's obvious and brilliant. Saves cost for everyone involved, keeps teams and fans together, and works easily.

So when the #1 seed plays the first game in the morning for the men every year since who knows when, that's like 9th grade basketball?

Early rounds alternate men and women in the AM. Can't imagine the men's games on TV are that big a draw. After all who watches TCU?

How much do you think ticket prices to this would be? Also, It makes this a week long event, instead of a long weekend one. That also adds to the cost, as in more hotel expenses, more meals, etc. I better start saving now.

I would assume tickets to the men and women would continue to be done separately, so if you only wanted to attend one or the other your ticket costs would be the same. You do have the point with the added days though. Maybe for the play in and the quarter finals, you leave the women at Muni so that you eliminate the need for the extra day, then you have both men and women as Sprint Center for the semis and the finals.

The women's atmosphere at Muni is way better than it'd be in a lucky to be half full Sprint Center. You have to keep in mind that just because ISU fans support our women's basketball team doesn't mean the other fanbases care

It adds one day to the current format. And you could easily separate the Mens and Womens tournament tickets, and could offer a package where you could get both which should ultimately add attendance to the womens.

The only problem I see with it would be getting the logistics to work with shoot arounds, media space, etc.
