NBA: *** Official 2014 NBA Playoffs Thread ***

I'm not watching at the moment but just checking the gamecast stats it looks like Lebron is getting to the rim at will; only two attempted threes out of his thirteen attempts. Is that how it's going?

He's playing a lot of bully ball tonight, not doing a lot of settling for jump shots. The Heat need someone else to help out though. This has been a problem for them all year though, Allen and Battier both looked their age this year, Miller is gone, Beasley was never able to get a permanent spot in the rotation.

Huge win for the Heat, need to get through this round quick. Can't let the Pacers get extra rest.

LeBron with a typical choke job at the end, can't hit that last free throw to get 50.

Felt the spurs had a good chance of losing this game. But it was interesting to see how much the spurs bench was playing. Pop waved the white flag pretty early. 2nd/3rd string held their own against portland's 1st string in the 4th.

Totally. Not only would Jordan have hit that freebie to get to fifty, but he would have done something cool on the shot like made it with his eyes closed or with his left hand or batted it up there with his ****.

And don't be so sure that Indy will advance. I think that given their up and down performance the last few months has Pacers fans on the edge of their seats. I've gotten to the point where I just don't expect anything from them so that I'm not disappointed, which is usually something you say about a ****** team and not one that's one win from the conference finals. Speaks to how fragile they are mentally.

I'm pretty confident the Pacers will move on to the ECF, they might not do it tonight, but they'll get through. Now that Hibbert has been playing better, Vogel seems to have straightened out their rotation by going back to riding his starting five for heavy minutes. I think both teams realize how important closing out the second round series early is going to be. LeBron's probably done playing less than 40 mins a night from here on out. The Pacers starting line up has been far and away their best five man group all year so you know they will be getting heavy minutes. The Pacers are so big that there's not a lot of chances to play small ball and have Battier, Jones, or Allen get an easy defensive assignment. Any rest either team can get will be important.

Indy getting worked over tonight...down 20 going into the fourth. Can't trust this team from one game to the next.

Same team as last year pretty much. Each series they have a couple of games that they just don't show up. When they face a good team, those games cost you the series.

Wow...just saw the Pacers score, not sure which is more impressive, that Gortat had 31/16 or that Otto Porter scored in a playoff game

Insane ending in Oklahoma City
