Recruit Lists v2.0

Sorry if this is a bit off topic for this thread, but if (and I said "if") we fill the two 2014 scholarships remaining with transfers, wouldn't we only lose 3... Edozie, Hogue, and BDJ as seniors next year? One 2015 schollie is already spoken for by Darian Williams from IWCC, right? That would only leave us two for 2015. We have alot of offers out for 2015 guys, and I know many posters have stressed this as an important class, but isn't our most important class going to be the 2016 guys? Because we'll lose Niang, Naz, McKay, Nader, and possibly Andersen if he comes. That's alot to replace. Obviously, we could have 20 offers out for top 100 kids for 2015 and not get a single one, but I was just curious how the staff will view the priority offers.

If we fill both, with non-fifth year seniors... we will have 2 schollys available for next year, so take that as you will. I'm of the opinion that someone can always transfer out too, and will likely do so, so that could also open a scholly here or there.

Read 2 articles and it only mentioned Iowa. Plus Woodard said they were recruiting him already when he was as San Jac school. Realize there could be newer updates, but I'm guessing its a mix-up and its Iowa.

Could be the case but we were one of the schools who recruited him out of high school. So our staff isn't unfamiliar with him.

EBYL update on Alex Illikainen and Jarvis Johnson.
AI
Illikainen holds 12 scholarship offers but doesn't currently have any favorites.

"I haven't really decided that," Illikainen said. "Maybe in a couple of weeks or after EYBL."

Illikainen said that he recently hosted Nebraska head coach Tim Miles for an in-home visit. He also took an official visit to California earlier this year (but has not yet heard from the new coaching staff), as well as unofficial trips to Indiana, Minnesota, Creighton and Iowa State.

JJ
"I don't have any favorite schools at this point," Johnson said. "I'm still open for recruiting. I know there were some rumors going around that I had committed but I haven't, so just get that out there. I'm open to any school right now."

Johnson said that Minnesota, Wisconsin, Marquette, Iowa State, Penn State, Michigan State and Kansas are the schools currently recruiting him the hardest.
