I view him as one of the most valuable transfers available this year, partly because he has three years to play. Franschilla tweeted a few days ago when this broke, that he is a guy who NBA scouts are aware of. Playing AAU ball in the Northeast, he likely knows Georges and it was noted here, they were connecting this week on twitter. Landing him would solidify our backcourt with Monte, Custer, Long, Thomas and SDW for the next 2-3 years.

Unless the Russian kid is a real possibility, he is number one on my board of available additions this spring.

Oh but yes, would. 8.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game is pretty solid for a freshman.

In a Twitter update, Abdelmassih now follows Cooke.

Does he follow Huff? Huff must not have been interested or too much like other players we already have when he became eligible? I know...move on, right?

@TravisHines21: Don't know if it's out there yet but Iowa State expected be one of the teams involved with Oregon State transfers Hallice Cooke, per source.
