Maryland v. ACC lawsuit. Once that shakes out, things will get very interesting.
With the ACC GOR in place, the likely impact of that lawsuit to more realignment is nullified.
I thought there were two ACC schools that didn't sign it - and I thought FSU was one of them.

Now that this thread has been dug up, I can put my great expansion candidate out there - Kentucky.
Think about it. Total basketball school, would leave a terrible basketball league. Football struggles in the SEC, but they might fit right into the mix in the Big 12. Helps with the geographic bridge to WV.
I know that there probably isn't an SEC school that's leaving the league, but KY is the northernmost school in the league other than the traitors. Their main rival isn't in the SEC so they wouldn't be leaving that. Not sure how $$ works out in Big 12 compared to SEC, but it would seem their main sports would match better with us.

I've come around to the same view. Round robin scheduling draws the member schools closer.

I'm 99.9% sure he was being sarcastic about that. He is probably making fun of LakesBison an NDSU poster who posts from time to time saying the Big 12 should take a hard look at NDSU.
This article will probably ruffle the feathers of those here who think that the Big 12 GOR would prevent teams from bolting for a few years. Clay Travis does have a law degree, and I'd like to see him expand on his opinion that the GOR would be unenforceable.
