***Offical who is going to NYC thread***

Tickets to the game. Sorry. Planning on taking the train/bus up on Friday morning.

Buy now. Prices are gonna keep going up. Blame uconn. Before they won prices were as low as 300 for all sessions.

A $227 flight roundtrip? You serious?

Section 227.

Also if anyone finds a way to be back in Ames by 2pm on Monday, I will love you forever. I'm considering going through Omaha but I would be cutting it close. (Plane lands at 11:30am)

Check roundtrip from Cedar Rapids to Laguardia. There is a flight that leaves Monday at 6:53AM and lands in Cedar Rapids at 10:53AM. This easily puts you back in Ames by 2PM. The flight is $483 RT.

What airline? What site you looking at?

What are the odds that there are still tickets available through Iowa State for us low-level donors after 2:30 today?

Too bad they wont let Cyclone Club members who aren't season ticket holders the right to buy them. Some of us do live out of state.

I'm looking for tickets as well. If you don't want them to go to UCONN fans, sell them to me!

I might be hoping against hope here, but I think there's a chance stubhub prices will come down a little.

Since the games ended last night, about 20% of the full-strips and 30% of the Friday session tickets on Stubhub have sold, but that still leaves ~1,000 tickets. If the sales slow down a bit, the prices should start to drop as game day approaches. There are still tickets being posted on Craigslist New York, so I think that's a good sign that there are still a good number of tickets out there.

I have 5 in my group. Some want to buy now, me and a buddy want to wait it out. Worst case scalp at MSG. I've heard fakes are rampant though.

Scalping outside might be tricky.

I went to Phish at MSG a couple nights before new years and a cop arrested the guy who sold me my ticket for face. (I felt really really bad about it.) Don't think there will be that many scalpers if the prices get crazy high you'll have con artists and scalpers without tickets looking for them begging everyone across the street but right outside the venue cops will be cracking down big time.

UConn will be the 4th best supported fanbase and its an hr train ride for their fans. UVA will be the best and is who is driving the market. They are starved for success. Then you have MSU. Then ISU. THen Uconn.

I'd buy now they will go up to 400 to get in friday. Instead of getting crap for 500 get lower level seats for 600 a strip 300 a session while you can.

Again Uconn is playing whats close to being a home game and the 3 other teams are going to bring just as many fans. UVA should have the most and they have deep pockets. ISU and MSU will be well represented.
